Played M5 last night. The grammar is improved significantly and the overall feel of the mission is fantastic. Like TChosenOne mentioned it seemed a bit easier than the previous missions. Also the "It's their purpose" Alarak line is perfect.

Just finished playing this on solo on Normal difficulty and managed to beat it. I found 1 science facility and 1 factory. I floated both towards my base in the center of the map and just surrounded everything with barricades. I never found any geysers but I did find about 2 gas pickups. I found about 3 supply depots and salvaged them right away. I tried exploring more, but couldn't find anything else. It's tough finding the time to explore when playing by yourself.

    Some comments:

    • The game caused SC2 to freeze up right before the victory screen. Noticed other people that had left feedback/reviews had the same problem. I think this is probably the biggest issue with this map.
    • My scv died once near the base, but something revived it. Probably one of the towers? The was a happy surprise since I thought that only your allies could revive you and I had none.
    • The difficulty felt just right playing for the first time. Fairly easy at the beginning but got challenging at the end but still beatable. I could imagine that the Normal difficulty would be quite easy with 4 people if it doesn't scale up with the number of players though.
    • The Hive Mind Emulators saved my ass I think. I had 3 of them and constantly mind controlled units, especially towards the end. Those with the auto cast energy recharge is quite a good combination. The building tooltip says that they permanently control enemy units, but I think they last for 8 minutes? Just make the tooltip matches whatever that number is.
    • I really like how you have the objectives teach the player at the beginning. It felt very natural.
    • I also think a visual day night cycle would be neat.
