I really have no idea, I limit myself to doing what I usually do with Sc2, I know that it is not 100% optimal, but I think that whoever is interested in this will know how to do it.
I am making together with two other people, a map based on DoW 2, At the moment, all the units and buildings of the Orc race are created, we are currently configuring the units in the database, since the game mechanics are quite Different from Sc2, we are editing the models, so that they work as turrets, this makes the models by themselves unusable in a normal way, they need a special database configuration, such as vehicles, etc.
Currently the first map is created, the models of the first army, and the database in process.
Everything I have is uploaded to Sc2mapster, what is in my assets page, is the only thing that exists, in short, if it is not in sc2mapster, it no longer exists.
Regarding models etc
I don't mean to be nasty, but you really have to complain to Blizzard, I can't do anything.
I am currently creating a personal project and the same thing happens to me as you, I need things that are not very Terran aspect, Protoss.

I like the game of figures more than PC games (referring to WH40K) although I also like games, it is logical XDD but I grew up with figures.

Well here is a first video of M3 editor, an amazing tool.
At minute 1:40 an erroneous text appears, ABC, here I forgot to put the text that indicates, Go to the option Model> Replace Texture.
