hmm is ther a reason why my learn abilitie dissapears after i upgrade it once? but it doesnt for my other abilities? now i cant seem to upgrade it past lvl 1
im assuming its cause i cant add multiple *cost* to a Augment ability....
any work arround for that?
only thing i can think of now, would simply to have 3 copys of the abilitie and learn them one at a time... but problem with that is that it doesnt remove the OLD button in the command card. so i would have 3 buttons stack up...
just wondering if its possible to have players set up their OWN hot key INGAME for abilities.
cause i have allot of them , and having them set from 1-9+ is not very efficiant for playing.

i have a learn ability that i use to put point into my abilities , when ever the specific abilitie gets a +1 (to lvl ) i need the validator to to allow my *switch effect* to actualy switch the effect.
but validators are beyound me... i have a *player requirement* validator cause i think that what i need lol but i duno

for the armor , how do i make the Armor an ITEM / Weapon?? right now all i have is a behavior attached to an Item , and all it does is add a % to armor.
Now = armor: 5 (+1)
what i want = Armor 6
i want the ACTUAL armor to be changed. is that possible? (like you would with a Weapon)
would it be a type of weapon? that changes armor??
i just dont want it to show.. PROTOSS armor , ZERG armor ..ect...... i want it to be custom depending on the ITEM you equip.
so i have a small bug and im not sure why its doing it.
working a RPG style game where you have 1 Hero.
but your Hero can hire Mercs ( 1 at a time ) the problem im getting is when im controlling both units (hero and merc) and i hit the inventory button... both my HERO and MERC's invent sorta MERGE together.
and even if i unselected one of them , its like it permanently bugged out ( slots are all over the place , items are in both invent instead of just one..ect..)
i did NOT use the same invent for different units. they all have their own unique inventory , so i dunno why its merging.

yeah but the problem im having is when i learn lvl 2 , lvl 1 is still there!! and i cant click on the lvl 2 button. :(
seriously , why do they make augment abilities so freaking compicated for nothing.

hey guys
working on a little RPG map its a 4 man game
what id like is on the side of my screen to show the Name/HP/energy value of the players .
just to make it easier to SELECT them and to keep an eye on the HP.
So i need to be able to click on it and it selects the targeted unit. and it gives me a visual of the specific stats.
is this better done with triggers or with a Layout file???
if triggers , how would i go about making this with triggers??

just follow the short tutorial i posted !... you can even download the map too look at the codes your self. to see how he did it.
