Is there any way to get an unit to randomly attack targets in its range rather than the closest? target priority distance / angle does nothing as far as I can tell
Hello there, In my map, Retribution TD, I have added build and morph sound effects to all my towers. The build effects are done through triggers and the morph come from the "ready" actor sound effect.
The sound effects all work, but what appears to be the problem is that some of the effects are heard by EVERYONE no matter where their camera is on the map.
I cant find any value setting for sound distance or whatever, anyone know whats up?
I'm adding visual effects to a bunch of morphs I'm doing and I'm finding that things don't line up. Mainly because I use units for a few of my towers, and units don't seem to have the same offset / baseline above the ground as buildings.
For instance : duplicate a photon cannon, then swap the model out for a unit like an observer. The observer model is now halfway in the ground because its baseline is somewhere in the middle of its model. When I do morph effects to this now, they appear ABOVE where the actual model is.
So my question is, "is there a way to change how far above the ground either an actor or a model appears?"
I'm trying to preview the ogg music tracks built into the game using the previewer and every time i double click on the of the music files, it says "There was an error adding your file" I tried on 3 separate computers with the editor and had the same problem. Does anyone know how to fix this?
I'm making a lot of these adjustments for next version, that will be released tonight. I really appreciate the feedback guys, want to make this fun for everyone.
1) Buffage for organic towers splash damage
2) Several graphic changes for unit cards
3) Anti Air buffed a tad(a very small tad)
4) all 3 tier 1 towers changed to 3 minerals with corresponding dps change
5) speed bonus reduced to 3x monster kills (from x5)
I'm not worthy! Your tutorials are what made this all possible OneTwo :) I literally went from knowing nothing about the editor to this map with your stuff !
Anyways, thanks again, and always looking for constructive comments.

I'd very much like to move all further discussion of this map over to the actual map page.

Trying to consolidate all these forums!
I will keep that page updated, I promise!

Now aren't you guys happy I'm open to suggestions and not some egotistical butthead? :)
Now tell me my loading screen looks cool again :)

I will look into this! Any way to lessen the impact of anti-juggling measures is good,
