    posted a message on How to level Passive Abilities such as auras?

    so i got a hero with an aura of 4 levels... how on earth to get this levelable? the only thing i see is "ability behaviour".. which has to be turned on. i tried using the flags "toggle on" , and it only works for the first level. im guessing there is a problem with the learn ability it self?, or maybe i based it off the wrong ability?

    ya so how would you guys make an aura level-able within a "learn ability" ?

    maybe make a dummy unit that has a behaviour aura, that does a search area effect, that applys instant fatal damage killing offf units that enter. and use target filters/validators to specify what units it hits.

    so a "any unit enters region" , kill whatever does not work?

    i wasn't using any test hero, or test attribute.. these hero's i made were during the beta, which had thier own custom attributes. I realized item drop on death during the beta was always happening. so i said this is just a bug that is happening then, but its also happening now..

    does using "thier" veterancy or "test attribute" really solve this? it doesn't seem related at all.

    its more than just these ludicrous polices.. its a combination of everything.. I have good friends i want to play with from other zones.. I cant unless i buy the game again. Then theres chat rooms... Something that blizzard never actually planned for...its only after massive uproar did they decide too put it in, the very fact that the guys at blizzard didnt have a problem with this at the start shocks me. Then you have this horrific map popularity system , which is going to make so many maps never see the light of day.. And too top it off now, if my terrain remotely resembles a nazi sign.. i might possible get my account Banned permantly (60$ down the drain) , Just wait when blizzard drops the bomb about "pay for custom maps" and sends you an email forcing you to charge for your map because they see it as a cash crop.

    what if i upload a map , and blizzard gives me a warning to remove the content or face being banned when im out of the country for a few months?? .. you know what else? on the sc2 forums i mentioned that "starcraft 2 has the worst ever moderators" (yes i know i should'nt have said that. but the response from blizzard went way over the board.. check the screen shot of what happened.     this new draconian blizzard is not the old blizzard that we all fell in inlove with. Its garbage.

    So i see this bugg is still in the editor, where if a unit / hero dies with an item , it drops on the ground.. It does not seem to matter if you have "item drop on death" ticked /unticked , because it will drop items regardless..

    so if anybody knows how too fix this (maybe im doing something wrong? ) tell me please, if not please can i get a work around for this? .. i see a couple maps on the list that are using items and when thier heros die it does not drop the items, so what to do guys?

    go to the unit editor, find the tank, then go too weapons.. and remove the turret (leave the other one) Problem should be solved. (though i not quite sure what you are asking for, i just know that its "turret" related :P

    guys how too share xp just like in warcraft 3 ? For instance in warcraft 3, One hero alone around the kill area will get Full Xp, If 2 heros are around the kill area the xp will be shared between both equally. so how to do this guys?
