    it works, but then it causes another bug..... because you are using triggers to revive heros....... all thier attributes/levels are forgetton. so while this fix works, ..it just leads to another bug.

    you want to know what else is messed up about so many new models? .. team colors.. good luck putting your tychus and black jim raynor in when he is confusing the hell out of everybody to what team he belongs too...

    all the civilians/specter barebackdudes/infested melee terran, jim/tychus etc are unuseable if a balanced map is truely your aim...

    its the usual fail whale from blizzard, why you think storm of the imperial sanctum doesnt use any attributes? .. cause the only fix for dropping items is this, and this one screws up attributes..... So the only thing left to do, is wait for a patch if you want to use attributes and items at the same time.

    i think you might also run into other "unforseen problems" , such as , most units only have 1 or 2 attack animations, and 1 spell animation..

    so unless your fine with having your fighters do liek 3 or 4 moves alone, its going to look pretty awkward...... and having the lag that bnet has .. ughh ..

    tread lightly i'd say :P

    i see, okay thats a more reasonable work around , ill give it a try.. so to recap what u did.

    i should make a couple base bahaviours with its death effect as modify unit within a search area. so the base behaviors will grant 40 xp , 20 xp , 100 xp .

    and then , say i have a unit i want to grant 120 xp upon death. i should stack the 100 xp and the 20 xp buffs right? ..... so both death effects go of at the same time?

    question, if i have tons of units fighting ( i making a footmen frenzy like map) all with this multiple search area upon death xp granting, will it cause lag?? , cause some units might set of these effects 3 or 4 times . then factor in a ton of units dieing at same time, will it lag?

    i see, nice way of doing it , however thats going to be a painfull amount of work, so i basically have to create a seperate behaviour/searcharea/modifiy unit for each unit in the game and for all heros ? cause each unit has a different amount of xp given.. unless im missing something?

    im using over 40 different units in my map, each one ill have to do that much work to share xp?

    fuck galaxy editor, this is a downgrade.

    currently i have a veteracy behaviour , that has the field "behaviour share filters" . and under kills i have excluded enemy,hallucination .

    the shared fraction is 1 for kills, and the shared radius is 10 for kills.

    is this the wrong way to do it then? what effect do you apply within your method? ( a search area with what exact effect?)

    okay it seemed to work till i ran into another problem. i have both a heal potion and a energy potion in which i set its location cooldown to "unit". its applying the cooldown to both of them at the same time when it should only apply the cooldown to the heal potion only.. any idea what to do??

    Edit nevermind i figured it out, i needed to change the actual unit it was being linked too also , which apparently both were linking to the heal potion unit..

    okay so scratch off item cooldowns from the list. thank you callex for the fix.. im glad i turned out wrong, rather than having to wait months for a patch to come out. so again thanks :)

    Another serious prob is the items dropping on death, any solutions?
