Hey I just got a very vague question and would appreciate any help. I have noticed in the past that zooming out the camera makes the attack sound harder to hear. So I used advice, and it still didn't work. However, I used one un-edited unit(Marine) and the attack sound worked. So I now know there is something wrong with my Zealot base unit and all it's copies.
Does someone think they can either give me a list of options of what might be causing them not to play, such as fields to edit. I know for a fact that in my base unit and all it's copies it has the Attack Launch Sound and Attack Impact Sound. So I'm guessing maybe it's something under events?
I'm sorry that I can't trim this down a bit, hopefully someone could help me :)?
Has anyone figured out how to fix this yet, since the release? It has not changed, and I have not found a solution. I even tried putting a circular region on the unit and revealing the area checking cliffs. However, when I do this it cuts the region at the maximum sight.
Hm, I tried this and it didn't work for me. My camera is at a height of 45, so I tried putting the sound rolloff point at 50. It did not work :(. I did some more rolloff points which were 40, 46, and 200. None seemed to work. If you have a solution or suggestion please let me know :).
The title pretty much explains it all. If I add the 2 campaign standards I will get all the models. However all the duplicate objects become messed up that I made. Once I close the editor and open the map up again, none of the new units from the standard are there. To get them back I have to remove the standards and add them again.
As a test I placed a Tauren Marine, once the campaign standards were in, then I restarted the map. The Tauren Marine was there on the minimap (top left corner), however it was invisible. All of the campaign units were not there as well.
I have been trying to get some beta keys for my friends. Have gotten 0 so far, hopefully I can get one now to give to a friend. Would finally have a friend online :). I have no idea how you got so many, but thank you for taking time out of your day to do this. Also, these keys are worth some money so thank you for giving up your own money. :)
Those are awesome :). And like cocosoft said, I think making the flag a decal would rock. Even the panda on DH as a decal would be sick too! Just some ideas, but keep up the great work :)! You think you would ever recreate the footman and grunt?
I'm trying to figure out, how to exactly increase the sight range. I can't just add a region and reveal stuff because I have cliffs in my map. The maximum sight range is somewhere between 15-20, I think. If anyone can help it would be really appreciated :).
There is a control type of c_triggerControlTypeEditBox. I have tried to use it, however it has not worked for me :(. If that doesn't work you can recreate one by creating a label, and detecting keystrokes and adding the letters typed to the label.
