THERE ONCE WAS A MAN WHO LIVED IN CALCUTTA, HE WOKE AT PAST 8 WITH A LOT OF CLUTTER. TOUCHE! HE CRIED, FOR HE COULD DO BETTER. AND ONCE BETRAYED HE POSTED A LETTER. BYGONE HE YELLED, FOR HE COULD NOT BELIEVE, I SMELL HE SAID, OF PAST ROTTEN CHEESE.
I'm looking for a trigger which makes the defult game camera zoomed in a tad, but is still moveable, still reverts to its slightly zoomed in height if i scroll in a bit ingame, and doesn't bug out and go back to the 'defult' old camera distance.
Something like what was present in the 'Belly of the Beast' mission, just a slightly zoomed in game camera.
I've checked such missions and i CANNOT find said trigger in them :/.
If i was to feel the need to make a 'landscaping' or 'terraining' speedpainting video, what should I use to capture it?
Fraps doesn't seem to run with the editor ;<.
Here's an example of what i mean:
Any information or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
... That was the wrong video. Fixed now.
I was going more of a slum feel. I used concrete when I first created the city but it just didn't have the same look and feel. I was also going for the impression that the company that owns the city wouldn't waste money and resources putting concrete down in the living areas and only in the work areas.
I'm probably the least skilled terrainer on this site but here's what I have.
Your doodad use is creative, and your base textures are nice and diverse.
However, perhaps some form of concrete would work between those streets? It might give it a slightly more 'towny' feel.

Any updates Mr P4ntz?

Thank you sir. This thread is lacking in feedback.

Here's some shots from a Campaign of mine i've been "Working" with. Figured the monotone lighting might fit in with your terraining exercises.
And a badly edited video of the map with a lovely song:
Credit to CZBnE for the Outro.
