I'm probably the least skilled terrainer on this site but here's what I have.
Your doodad use is creative, and your base textures are nice and diverse.
However, perhaps some form of concrete would work between those streets? It might give it a slightly more 'towny' feel.

I was going more of a slum feel. I used concrete when I first created the city but it just didn't have the same look and feel. I was also going for the impression that the company that owns the city wouldn't waste money and resources putting concrete down in the living areas and only in the work areas.

Actually I was pointing out how it's too urbanized, unlike Mar Sara which is a rural planet. Poverty and desert decorate the planet as it's key element whereas in Oxtia's picture, it shows none of the above, it shows a metropolis with bright, strong lights. That and the use of Man-made cliffs.
Oh yeah, oppression and forced labor too, blah blah blah.
I think the most representative are : Norathem,Cbrag and the video of ababmer
Because Mars Sara is devasted and you show us a picture with light, When i look the Otixa Screen,it makes me think about 28 day later :)
Sorry for my bad english x)

As my previous poster said - I really like your creativ doodade use. The only negativ thing I have to say about it is that i miss the sadness.
Here's my attempt at this.. its my first entry ever into one of these and I probably could have done better with the camera placement : /
Here's my attempt

Looks more like Tarsonis than Mar Sara, to be honest.

It's elusive, isn't it? =P
It is Mar Sara, the concrete texture betrays it. He's just not visably used any of the Mar Sara textures and used Tarsonis doodads.
No idea what I was doing but here we go lol
This weeks attempt :D
