I love that animation, too! I took Docablo's version, modified it to have a splat (which makes me happy to say, there's no splat centering around Kheldrun! ^_^), and I took the Disease Cloud model and placed there, but there is one problem: the Disease cloud is REALLY small. I'd like it to fit the radius I set it to (which is 3) like in Demonette's map. This is really the last thing that needs to be done before Dark Swarm is completely finished. So... how do I make it expand to fit the radius of the splat?
Edit: I think I figured it out! I just needed to edit the scale on the model. :) All right, it's almost ready.

Also... how do I get rid of that Zerg AOE splat around Kheldrun? And also, he uses his attack animation when I press "D" (or click on Dark Swarm), and then uses it TWICE when the spell is "cast." I want to fix all of those, but I don't know how.
More questions: Where do I find this... "auto-cast" behavior on creation to edit? I can't seem to find it. Also, I want to give it a timer of life like an Infested Terran or changling before it dies. How do I do that?
I have noticed that some people have used "SC1 Legacy" for SC2 remakes of an SC1 map. I'm not sure that's appropriate (though, it's the mods/admins call). I was offered recently to host my campaign on a different site, I was not very fond of this idea as it would spread me thin. I promised to think about it, though. However, this bothered me, and IMO, the "Legacy" categories are NOT being used properly.
When I came here, I was led by Sixen to get more testers here for my campaign. So, he set up new categories: The Legacies ones: SC1, War3, and of course, the Blizzard Legacy icon which says Non-SC2 maps (to paraphrase). So, that's what there for! Really, in my opinion, even though this is sc2mapster, since the categories are there, we should NOT be excluding Starcraft 1 maps just because this is an SC2 site. I think any map from a Starcraft game should be fair game here. A campaign even.
That's my thoughts on the matter, and what I think. The mods/admins can override me on this, but that's what I believe "Legacy" should be used for: not remakes.
Oh, that's sounds good. Well, umm... one last question: how do I make the dummy caster invisible. I know through multiple tries of making Kheldrun's burrowed version, that I've caused spheres to appear on the screen, which I assume are models FOR dummy units, but they appeared in-game. How do I make it invisible, just no model?
Welcome to the community. If you're still into Starcraft 1, I have a Starcraft 1 campaign hosted here that I need feedback on. It's possible that it might be converted to SC2 with the SC1 remake team, but for now, I'm going to use SC1 for it. I have an SC2 sequel campaign planned, too. :)
