    Hey I attached a fire model to a unit. When the unit moves, the fire peak is left behind the unit, which is kinda realistic, but it's not the effect I'm aiming for. I'd like to fire to form like a "aura" around this unit, so I'd like to ask if anyone know how to put the fire still even when the unit move. I'm sure it's possible !

    Imo, the map looks high quality, but as already said in most posts here, the video lacks rythm and does not show anything but spamming fire/electricity heroes. The music is kinda choppy for a trailer, and the terrain is really, really dark. So we can't really figure what the hell is happening.

    @iSaintx: Go So that's why everyone will not agree this is a map worth having mystery images shown for 3 months and worth being descripted as "not starcraft" and assumed "impressive". That's mostly why people will pick on the map.

    - I will definitivly try it out, but if it's as unforgivable to newbies like Smashcraft was, I won't replay it anytime soon.

    I believe I posted in your original post where some grave voice was being played. The effects now are much better than what I remembered.

    Dragons ? So its not a starcraft project ?

    You should totally lend your voice to big incoming projects. I'm sure plenty of large projects need some voiceacting. Ever considered becoming a professional one ? huhu.

    Hey, I'm sure you're a good voiceactor, you can lightly modify your voice and, that added to the effects, your voice wouldn't be recognized. Example, Jack Ristchel was in fact voiceacting Artanis / Templar / Zeratul / Edmund Duke. Yeah, nobody could have figured this out without reading idmb Also, the one dubbing the Battlecruiser, Ghost, and Marine are the same person. Crazy, right ?

    What I'm afraid of, is that relying too much on effects would make the audio cheap and lower the quality of the immersive effect, among other things. Some will agree that the Protoss of Wings of Liberty have that problem to a ridiculous level.

    (Just listened out the whole thing, you really are good at voiceacting, as the second one prove it)

    Hey, you have a great voice, you don't need a billion effect to modify it ! Look at Aldaris of SC1, his voice was great, yet he really had a minimal effect added to his voice. The first one especially need some effects removed !

    @Mephs : seriously, does anytime anything happends to you, you have to insult everyone to get some compassion ? I don't wanna be rude, but that's not the right way of getting it. If your account is banned, that's definitivly not because you made a good-looking map with average gameplay. The popularity system is frustrating, but you should realise you most definitivly did NOT make the best map ever.

    Still, I hope your problem got solved and you can upload your map again.

    - Sorry if I was a bit harsh, but I really loved SC1 campaign (better than SC2's) and I'm putting the bar pretty high as you said ^^

    - Well, MaleCivilian with a light oldening skill and a change of background could be cool. Or to aim at a different style, but with similar character traits, we got the Marine2... I think it's pretty hard to choose but the best would be to have a decent skin of a portrait. It's just that the "Old Bastard" traits that is duke is not really found in the BC portrait.

    This seems nice. I like the briefing room a lot. I'd like to point out thought :

    - The portrait's mouths are not moving both in transmissions and briefing room. That removes a bit of the immersive effect.

    - You need a better terrainer. The map is just made of corridor and the map and ways are shaped like a square. Does not really mimic the Blizzard's standards, so you don't feel like you're in a blizzard-like quality map.

    - I'm not sure Battlecruiser's portrait is best fitted for Duke.

    Well, I'm not convinced about this 4th race. This could work for WC3, but for SC its just weird. But it must still be very hard to come with something original in SC since all 3 races complete themselves perfectly.

    Creating a dialog box with this skin should definitivly do. Thing is you gonna need to browse throught the differents UI to find it. Try searching "frame"
