Does anyone have an EU guest pass that they'd be willing to trade for a US guest pass? Lemme know. Thx. (also, do you have to have different clients installed for the two different regions or can they both use the same client?)
To avoid a possible FUBAR from my ignorance, what is it that differentiates the two regions when creating an account?
Ok, so I have the contact info for a staffer that's willing to entertain map related questions. Please post questions that you'd like to have answered here. And, to minimize the amount of sorting I have to go through, please keep the BS questions, trolling, etc. out of this thread. I'm trying to do this to help everyone!
WOOT! Got a response! SO, I have the attention of a staffer's ear/eye (and direct email address). So, in an orderly fashion we could form a list of important questions that we want to ask a staffer! :D
Maybe you could work with Prozaic on some as well. ;) It would be great if there were a team that worked on a tutorial series so they were all of similar format and design. It would cut back on repeated tutorials and what not as well.
After more and more reading on this, apparently you just need the (Story) dep up top... none other is needed. This will, however, load the single player unit profiles rather than the multiplayer. I'm going to be toying around with just including the story dep and then having all the other deps (along w/ custom deps) in another mod which will be loaded as the second dependency.

Our team will have interesting features that most map design teams won't. At present, I am not publicly announcing anything for what our plans are or what the future of OHMS holds. Let it be enough for the moment that our team offers a degree of ambition and structure that is uncommon amongst volunteer groups in my experience. It is our goal to produce maps that are portfolio worthy for those involved with the development process.
Our current project is ambitious and rewarding! At first glance it is close to the map that inspired it, but given closer (even cursory) inspection an entire slew of differences come to the surface.
Our website, logo, etc. are forthcoming.
