I watched Mapcraft last evening (GMT+2) around 30 minutes and I didn't understand point of Mapcraft really =/ You just talked about Starcraft. Isn't it better idea to show people in stream what you are talking about? For example if you talk about specific map please show that map you are talking about. I watched other archived videos and I liked terrain and trigger tutorials.
Iirc, you joined in close to the end. Don't expect to completely understand everything we're talking about if you don't listen to the whole cast, tbh. We spent a full hour discussing Starcraft Universe and very specific questions directed to its authors before you joined. We've been talking about showing off the map in question, but that's extremely hard on the PC so for now we've mostly been doing it with trailers and screenshots. For now I'd just recommend that you watch a whole episode before judging, as I don't really think it's possible to alter a podcast so that everyone will completely understand the whole discussion going on regardless of when they join in.
This shouldn't be too hard - if you head over to www.livestream.com/Sc2Streamster while nobody is live, the autopilot will automatically be playing an older VOD. You can scroll down to find the library and view any other VOD at your leasure.
TacoManStan should be hosting Data Monday, but he's on US time; meaning that by the time this is posted, it still takes like 3 more hours until he starts (and it's already 2 AM here).
That's odd? Are you using addblock or something? That might be messing it up. You should be able to just access the chat whenever you want and talk there?
I doubt he'd be willing to though, knowing the man's schedule. We've got an open call on the news though, so everyone interested can give a yell. We'll figure something out to keep the whole thing interesting for you folks :)
Note that while I don't respond to all suggestions, I do read them and take them into account.
That said, I'm going to cancel tonight's Terraining Tuesday. That would be the one on the 5th of July. Instead, I'll have a Terraining Thursday this week on the 7th - Deathtorn is cancelling his Triggering Thursdays and probably quitting the project, so I'll take over his day in order to get my TT on the road anyway.
Something like that could be interesting, sure! The main 'problem' right now is that we can only have one guest a week (or plan to, at least), meaning that if we have 'a guest for next week' set, anything coming up will be in two weeks, which is simply put a relatively long time - this is also why I've been hesitant to respond to PMs for request. I do read them and keep people in my mind, but generally you can assume that if you're interested and have letten me know you are, we will contact you when we have a spot.
Eh, no offense, but what 'professions' are there past scripting, actors/models(/data editing) and terraining?
That said - Mephs still seems gone. Will have to see what he does for tonight, but if he keeps not giving us any news I'll try to find replacements for him.
I would use the announcement box, were it not that it takes about 10 freaking minutes to find and properly edit the thing. If it was actually obvious or so, I might consider it, but right now I really cba fiddling with links for 10 minutes every single day to get a line up saying "Sc2Streamster will stream tonight".
I haven't looked yet. I will later this week and test stuff out with the Almaity. Thanks regardless though, it should help a lot :)
On another note - yes, I didn't mention it in the podcast but I do actually intend on advertising this on TL at some point. I just want it to be less chaotic and noobish first and make the whole thing look better overal.
Good idea regarding the reminder. That said, I'm trying to update the opening post as much as I can, it's just that a lot of times stuff is unclear. Like Watcher mentioned, we weren't even sure if today's Mapcast would happen until about three hours before it started. Expect more coverage and a clearer schedule in the OP as time goes on.

Going live in a minute or 2 :)
You have now justified your position as a moderator.

That's not a bad idea actually. Need to consider something like that.
