it sounds like a problem with the unit actor, try simply changing the "model" of a commen unit, like a zealot, and see if it dies.
Also, make sure to change the death model of the unit to the model as well. that part is what gets people.

This is so awesome, i can't wait for RPG mods with some ingame videos, great quests and all that good stuff and everything in the WoW look. With all the possibilities of the editor it could be even better then WoW.
here is a map i did, it's not good at all but i can't wait for the real stuff:
someone emailed to blizzard, and they said yes. To be sure mention that the models are the property of blizz and ur finde, but i wouldn't use models in an other game not from blizz.

To me wow models look better in sc2 than in wow =P [they are the same]
@EvilNecroid: Go
Sounds arnt tiled to models in any way shape or form =P youll have to download an MPQ editor and get those from the wow files yourself, something I still need to do as well.

I solved the problem exporting only the death animation and replacing it. How can I increment the death time?
Big Update
You can now rename all animations!

"We can not rename Animations, thus some will not work."
this should be fixed.
@chuanhsing: Go
thanks for the catch, I added in there that you can renmae animations, however I forgot to remove that, thank you!
Is there a list over the animation names we can use?
@Orbiter1987: Go
if you go to "animation play" in an actor, it will list a dropdown of "animation type" any mix of those words can be used for an animation name.
When does the video come?

what do you mean? THe video upload is the exact same as the text tutorial, just in video form.
Hey guys, I tried to import Spells (Frostbolt and Frostfire Bolt), but I get some ugly squares.
I think this is caused because of the missing particles like Molsterr said, right? Is there not an another easy way to import them?
Are we allow by Blizzard to use WoW model into SC2 ?

particles still do not work,
@Molsterr: Go
actually, most of them do since the latest rev.
see attached pic (Frostbolt)
left Monitor is Galaxy Editor and right is wowmodelviewer
@HellFire0102: Go
but a great great deal dont (infact every model that I wish to use that has particles still does not)
have quick questions about this
do we leave "initial pose only" checked or unchecked when exporting?
also what animations do we rename (attack, run, stand) to so they work in starcraft2?
how do we setup the animations in galaxy editor?
thanks
what about the number of polygons if you compare the sc and the wow units?
@Molsterr: Go
I love u
