Does anyone know if the night elf buildings are available? Not the tents or gazebos, but more like the buildings in the shopping district in Darnassus.
Also, another question (though not entirely relevant), does anyone know if there is a successful RPG-type map with WoW models implemented, or know of any teams that are working on something like that?
Do you think you could export some trees, plants, flowers, and herbs? I'd also love to see squirrels, insects, and other critters.
Just an update, I just finished exporting trees and critters (still haven't gotten to the herbs). And just to let you know my effort here:
I have manually exported a total of 660 different trees and 97 variations of critters spread across 26 unique critters 1 file at a time... I hope that's enough
Some tree models would be nice especially the ones in Elwyn Forest and Teldrasill.
Trees are already on the way, I just gotta find the energy to divide them into smaller packs and then screenshotting (I have exported 660 different trees)
Can you upload a 'hero pack'? A few nice looking casters, melee etc. The ones on the first post are alright, but i'd like someone a bit less known than the lich king and with a sword/ hammer/ something epic. Wish we could use characters, but ah well :(
You can use characters. They're expensive on resources though, even when you compress them. I like using the Old World Human models and then replacing the skins with the latest models. Looks exactly the same.
The guy I made below isn't an Orc character, he's a creature but I reskinned him using the cataclysm skin. Dress this little guy up and you cant tell the difference. I could have used the character model, but it's 1MB+ (130kb-ish compressed) whereas the model in the picture is about 23kb compressed. BIG difference when you want a lot of imports.
BTW, this guy is a General Class type unit for my upcoming Strategy Game. He's based off the Fire Emblem version of the Knight/General units who were always armored to the teeth.
Anyway, I'll upload a hero or two for you. What's your preference? Humanoid or Animal or what?
@Rileyb80: I got the same issue with Mal'ganis (or Dreadlord, I can't remember exactly). I got many bugged models (Water elemental, human-creature models). I'd like to know too if somebody hasn't got that problem.
BTW, I have a few time to convert models today, just let me know which ones and which animations you need (I'm running on WOTLK, so no Cata models).

The Model Viewer uses the MPQ Files from the Game Client, so you need to install WoW in order to see them in the viewer.
do you can export a Phoenix model? (like A'lar) would be really nice.

I'm using the DreadLord Model from the undead pack, however his armour seems to be stuck above his head.
Is there anything I'm doing wrong or does it just happen?

It's the way the models are built up, nothing we can do about it without a 3rd party program.
