Hello I made a small map 160x160 (1v1) and want to try it with real players. It is public but only on EU servers.
It is melee and you can access it trough the multiplayer->custom-> newest
The map is called Mountain Ridge and it requires Hots expansion.
I was wondering what technique should I practice in order to make sure my map is balanced and without usable defects?
Yes by playing but, it is not just sit, play 2-3 game and its over. Any ideas how?
Maybe I try 3 game with protoss, 3 with terran, 3 with zerg against AI. Ok I could also try different AI difficulties, like 9 with medium 9 with hard 9 with harder etc...
What could be optimal way to test a SC2 Melee map?

No such thing anymore. That used to be a thing before the arcade was free to everyone.
Well I wanted to note that it is awailable if you have HotS. No need to have LotV
BTW I found few defects against Harder AI. Will fix it in the upcomming days.
I also didnt spend time to decorate since I want to fix playable defects.
Made version 2.0: http://vladtheterran.tumblr.com/post/134849859527/mountainridge-version-20-map-vladtheterran
Some improvements, mineral lines, ridges, only one center xel'naga tower, fixed rapms etc...
Well this isnt published but just wanted to make sure that it looks ok. I made some screenshots: http://vladtheterran.tumblr.com/post/134986862972/i-feel-like-bobross-galaxyeditor-starcraft2
If you were making a natural surrounding map which doodads would you put?
I used zerg carcasses, Agria trees, some Zerus plants :) Volcanic spires, some lava fountain controls :)
