Ya but it is the same wave, you know what I mean? It should be like Bloons TD (if you have ever played) where the waves go on forever after you have beaten the level. It's not like the same units over and over and over again, you know? I was actually talking to Karawasa about making another mode where you just try and get to the highest level you can, but he didn't really tell me what he thinks of the idea. It would be a lot of work to get right.
I dont like the damage reduction for higher difficulties. Why not increase the hit points instead? Same effect, but more intuitive. Right now, you see your tower has 8 damage, enemy has 5 hp and he survives 1 hit.
just like EW said, most of the time there are 5-6 very easy waves, and suddenly you cannot kill the next wave (and not just because you have the wrong element - they feel a lot stronger suddenly).
This was hopefully fixed a couple versions ago. Which one did you play?
It's not bloons td... it's ele td. dont' compare td's to others, otherwise you end up with the same td. Element TD is its own game, it could be other games by copying their mechanics but then is no longer ele td :P
I'd have to give the mode some thought. Regardless though, it's kind of low priority in my opinion. I'd much rather get Tower Wars mode in the game first.
Well, do you hit this limit anytime? I did not keep track of the HP values, but for the vegetable round you can easily use damage reduction again, doesn't matter that much for this round anyway.

I played in bnet, so it was the latest uploaded version at that time.
I discovered a bug. The select creep mode voting screen remained visible for me. I was a bit slow with voting and the other playes voted already I think. The screen did not disappear after two rounds.
The map is awesome. That's the least thing I could say, but the biggest beef I have with the map is the "choice" that player's have to "choose" when the game begins. If you're playing through the popularity system, the choice will almost ALWAYS be very easy. Now this isn't a flaw within the game its self, it's players' psychology, but you get tired after a while of playing it only on very easy.
Coming from the high-standards you got, I thank you
Anyway, I only had 1 day to test the actual Element TD BETA out, and I spent most of that day packing. So it'll be fun to actually see it in action further along since I last saw it.
Ya man, great terrain! I was really impressed with how you made essentially 8 different maps with only 8 tilesets! Great work! Also I'm not sure if it was you who did this, but the zealot killing the zerglings in the terrain and the rest of the "animated" terrain are also really good. Great work man! That part really inspired me, I am going to be adding some "animated" terrain in my map as well!
Oh and btw when I say it should be be like Bloons TD, I don't mean like it should be the same game. I just like that particular function of the game, and was kind of disappointed when this game didn't have it. But that feeling is now 100% gone, because this game is so awesome. Great job everyone on the team, no matter when you joined the team! (Eh hemm...)
I have to admit... I've played the WC3 version hundreds of times, and I'm proud of it :D
One thing i did not like at all about the SC2 version is that it's going to fast. The waves aren't quite spaced enough, making me stressed while I've been quite relaxed and content with the slower WC3 version. I don't know if it's done, but please consider to include this in a setting or something :D

Great to be back and part of the community again!
There is a limit of 500,000 HP or so.
Might be used to VE players finishing before you?

Yup. We are unique for a reason.

Thank you for reporting. It will be fixed in the next version.

We addressed this with four different game types in the new version. Check it out!
This is a nice post to come back to from a 3 week holiday *happy face*

I'm going to assume you were on "standard" type. If so, newest version (just released) ought to help out :).

Have you noticed a difference?
How did you get the multiple cliff types on a single map?
Far as I know, we didn't do anything special regarding tiles or cliffs. Just excellent terrain work by Zarakk.
@Karawasa: Go
you use more than 2 cliff tiles, as far as most know 2 is the max.
