Well... with micro transactions coming up this could open path to some
great games using WASD not viable at the moment and with fraction of
them being sold, this could be a revenue source for them. Not to mention
that if custom games scene grows, overall game sale might peak up
I doubt that the amount from custom games would be enough to pay more server capacity. Im not saying its impossible, i just think it wont make sense for them.
They already talked about the possibility of fixing the lag reworking the netcode but that it requires a lot of efforts :|
I would really like to get a source on this. Ive never heard anything about a "netcode rework". Also there is no difference of delay between data abilities and triggers at all. It doesnt matter if you press a command card button or a triggered key/dialog item.

That said I'm always hoping that they give the option of making more actions client based. There are few things that I would be more psyched about. But I just don't see it happening soon :)
This is the problem. The "fix" most of you might be talking about is making more stuff client side, like in MMOs like WoW.
However, not only that this is alot of work, it also doesnt work for RTS games at all. This would mean that they would have to kinda split the netcode up, once for FPS/TPS games and one for normal RTS games. I cant see this working at all.
But like ive said, dont get me wrong, it would be by far the most amazing feature ever and id probably cry of joy if it would be implemented into the game. I just think that, realistically, we cant expect anything in the near future. :(
What Hookah said. So far I'm a tad underwhelmed. We've got 3 pages of questions and all they've said is basically "Hi, we'd love to answer your questions!". Guess it can still come, but "hm".
They answered some questions, but yet they pretty much ignored all the interresting questions that the mapping community has been asking since years.
Im not sure if they are just ignoring the questions or dont know the answer - its not like it would take hours to reply.
To be honest, I don't expect them to answer a bunch of good questions at once. All this means is that they can post on the forums on their off-time, if they want to - so just expect them to post about as much as the other blues do. (Only in this case, there is 6 of them for only 1 part of the forum)
Same goes for the quality of the posts. The majority of them may be things people here know, but over time we might be able to eek valuable bits of information out of them bit by bit.
Since it isn't an official Q&A or anything (just introducing them to the forums) I didn't really expect them to spam posts instantly. That thread wasn't even meant for posting questions really; it was just the welcome thread.
Haha seems like they answering non of the question/request, that we couldnt answer....

Somebody can post my question?
Here it is:
Why arent you answering questions?
@Hookah604: Go
This question is very questionable.
Blizzard is watching
Answering all the questions except for yours :/
as always...
Don't want to off topic on the battle.net forums (not that I can, don't have US license but still ;) ) Since the ArtTools are not out yet, if you have any bug to report, please, by all means, report it in the M3 plugin thread http://www.sc2mapster.com/forums/resources/third-party-tools/963-m3-exporter/?page=41#p821
