that's mean. we can all agree they made alot of mistakes but i really think they want to fix things now(more than just this bug). i got some of my faith back and i can just hope blizz won't let me down with LoTV.
SEA already has a new patch and maintainence is scheduled for tommorow. here we go

Really? Can't you think it was just harder to find the source of the problem and fix it? It's not like it was a "Allow map downloads" flag they forgot to check.
Same as it's not like "start being positive, optimistic and hyped about blizz" checkbox TwoDie forgot to check iside him. It's harder to find reasons for higher hopes after those 20 months of not a thing done for sc2.
@Zolden: Go Not being positive isn't the same as clearly accusing them in this particular case. I'm far from hyped and optimistic about anything they do, and we had been forced to tell LotV mod players to switch to EU just to download it, over and over again and it was released last week. I can only imagine how it affects other projects, but I don't feel like "false promises" is a justified accusation.
Yes, I understansd your sober estimation and his dramatism. But accusation in fockewolfing is just beyond the pale! It's an ultimate application of the godwin's law!
Nothing exciting to share. We've been able to reproduce both unable to download and unable to publish map but no updates on being able to resolve it yet.
It looks like the engineers are getting closer to figuring out the cause. They are throwing back and forth all sorts of terms I've never heard about but it looks promising. There's nothing better than a programmer who smells blood in his code. The hunt is on!
@Traysent: Go Thank you for lettings us know. Right now it looks like I can update maps but players won't be able to download them. But when I try to publish a new map it won't let me. I think JaKaTak already described the issues to Psione or somebody else.
i had no problems with uploading (8mb) and ppl were able to download (eu had slightly different version, so it cannot be that they downloaded on eu). i uploaded 6 a.m. (UTC +1).
seems to be a long day

There's no need to go down the fockewulf road.

im accusing them of some kind sorceries!?!? No. Im stating a fact - promise wasnt delivered..
simple reply like this: "fuck you guys im going home.."

Blizzard is undergoing a maintenance scheduled at 3 AM PST btw.
I can confirm that after the NA 2.1.7 patch today, some maps still cannot be downloaded.
all of my maps are fixed. i updated today and people are able to join.

Gosh, you're the only report here that says the bug is gone. Should I publish my map?
@Traysent: Go
Let's hope it doesn't last till Christmas. I have an update which will uplift the holiday spirit!... basically a Jingle Bells song in the start.

We need blizz dudes to officially report thatf the issue fixes.
Some random successful uploads and maps becoming downloadable after upload - are a part of the issue.

I have maps less than that, but I can't upload yet my New York developer can? I'm from Georgia so Northeast vs Southeast.
Can anyone verify this?
- Uploading with at least one file in the import manager fails
- Uploading without any imported files works
