If you're interested, could you toss me a small PM regarding how you would handle it and what credentials you've got? That said - yes, we have a path, but it depends on the area we're handling and situation. Currently we plan to do most noob content on friday. The other days we probably won't follow a 'path of progression' but rather focus on a specific area each time, with each area being of different difficulty. For example - one day Mephs might focus on creating a cinematic on triggerday, while on another he'll go into how to sort your coding in an efficient way.
First overlay done, tell me if you like it and I'll make one for Mephs as well. Actually, shoulda put Mephs on this one instead of Moz since it's more a data overlay than terrain :p I can make overlays for every day if you want to, or just one per person. Thats for the small overlays, gonna make seperate fullscreen overlays for each day.
Also, for the fullscreen data day overlay, want me to use a similar background? (Matrix style)
For the big Terrain overlay, Moz, Can you give me a few screenshots of some of your terrains?
For the trigger overlay, I thought about making the background be a large block of Galaxy (will probably copy one of my own triggers script)
Any ideas for the others?
If you want different overlays, what do you think about a background like that in my sig? Or do you want me to try something different?
EDIT: Ok, dont see why its not showing a preview >.>
Well, at least it works this way
EDIT 2: Yea, I know, it's a bit hard to read. Stuff always is when I try and make it look good...
You didnt comment on the small overlay I just posted. Like it? Want a different one for yourself? Want multiples? Waiting for Mephs?
I'll take the waterfalls pic, just looks epic!
Btw, what resolution do you need the large overlays to be (i.e. what's your screen resolution, or the resolution of the part of the screen you'll be streaming from?)
EDIT: Oh yeah, you know any good quote or something I can put on the terraining tuesday fullscreen overlay? Feel free to talk with me on skype or through PMs if you want to, lol.
EDIT 2: Adding a small overlay for Mephs
EDIT 3: GL tomorrow Mephs! Gonna attach the higher quality Monday overlay, sorry in advance if it's the wrong aspect ratio. If you don't like the overlay (which I really wouldn't hold against you, it didn't turn out the way I wanted it), I'll make a new one. I'll have to go with trial and fail with these overlays unless any of you has a concrete idea ;) Don't mean that as criticism - It's actually pretty fun to do =D
EDIT 4: Ok, quickly made you a 1280x720 res overlay as well (16:9 ratio/HD ratio) gl hf!
You use the "studio" for your channel. It'd be nice if you had another computer or someone to manage the overlays for you otherwise they'll just see you turning on the overlays in the stupid java crap they call "studio"in livestream.
I remember doing a lot of work on mapster's old channel, might wanna check that out. Also overlays look disgusting, love them :P
If you ever need someone to do some graphic casts contact me ;o
You can do all sorts of stuff btw, know how TV channels have their logo up there in the screen? You can do that. It's on the branding tab, it's called "bug" for some reason. You can do text marquees on the bottom of the screen just like some news channels, display random text so people can remember what they're watching, and such.
As soon as Mr. Moza announced Sc2Streamster, my heart was filled with joy. Sc2Streamster was what I thought about every night as I went to sleep. Now today, the pilot stream finally started. I barely held my anticipation as I watched the stream. Then, I noticed this:
14 Views guys? SERIOUSLY!?!?
Come on guys, let's all watch it NAO! Then we can boast that we watched it before it went mainstream - when Sc2Streamster gets thousands of views.
Yes and yes, actually. For one, the VODs will be available on the stream for anyone who can't make the times we broadcast. On another note, TheAlmaity and me have been discussing an additional cast on sundays which will specifically be a podcast, where we get on Skype and invite mappers for interviews and talks on the editor and that sort of thing. Will get back to you about that, though.
