I published my map on 4 Nov to NA and SEA. I also created a map page here. However, when I went to the "Manage Published Versions" section and tried to add my map on NA and SEA, it always said "Published map does not exist in our database." I followed its suggestion and updated the map at sc2ranks.com. The map was recognized by sc2ranks.com soon afterward. However, I still can't add the published versions of my map here. Am I doing something wrong?
[edit] I mean the "Manage Published Version" at my map page here at sc2mapster, not the one in SC2 editor. Sorry that I didn't make it clear in the title. :P
My map can already be seen on the popularity list of NA, though still quite low down the list. Yet I still can't get the "Manage Published Versions" to work. Did I misinterpret the function of it?
Steps 3 require you to come back the next day, might be that our database is only updated on a daily basis. I'm not so sure about this but if your map shows up on sc2ranks it will be available here soon after.
I had already repeated step 3 for at least 4-5 times. I kept checking that page again everyday since my map appeared on sc2ranks but the published map page still doesn't recognize my map.
sc2ranks is buggy / lagging too. It still says that my map has only been played 15 times which is definitely not the case as myself and my brother have already played a lot more than this, and other people played it as well. I guess it takes some time for it to update the data.
the editor is fantastic with the "getting the feel of" "familiarizing with" being a blatant attempt at refraining people from taking control of their toy and putting it to better use.... I've had problems with the function and I sympathize
err.... I mean the "Manage Published Version" at my map page here at sc2mapster, not the one in SC2 editor. Sorry that I didn't make it clear in the title.
/bump for my poor map that still isn't recognized by the system. =/
Besides, imho, it seems that sc2ranks way of working is even more mysterious than that of battle.net. My map "Aeon of Chaos" is still on the last page despite the site counted it was played 430 timies, which is more than that of some maps on the second page (SEA has significantly less players than NA):

You might need to contact both vjeux and the sc2ranks owner about this matter. I do not know about any of the programming aspect or implement of it on mapster.
Vjeux went awol currently but he does lurks sometimes, just pm him.

on topic:
at what point can we perhaps get a sticky for: sc2mapster vjeux issues?
we want vjeux! we want vjeux! we want vjeux? we need vjeux!
Don't mind me, just stating the obvious :-) and thank you to the people who are trying to get these issues fixed!

same problem by my maps. Do the System accept map name with space in it?

Btw, my map finally shows up on page 10 of sc2ranks list instead of 13. :P
