Is anyone else having an issue where Starcraft 2 slows down enormously after being minimized? It seems to have mini-freezes and just horrible lag in general. All I am doing is playing the game for a little bit, Windows keying out, surfing the web for a while (surfing tabs that were open when Starcraft 2 was open), and then going back to play. It seems like the longer I leave it the slower it gets. I also get this problem when I leave Starcraft minimized while working on my maps (meaning I'm not even signed in). The lag seems to spread to the rest of my computer too, eventually slowing everything down, and I got a warning today that I was low on RAM (while this was happening). Its not my computer, or everything would be slow all the time, its only when I have left starcraft 2 minimized for a while. Any idea what it is?
What Eiviyn said. It's a bug that should be fixable, but the easiest solution is to just turn your video settings to windowed-full screen. The whole thing will still look just as it did in full screen, but a tap on the windows key will bring up your taskbar with all programmes and Starcraft does not need to be minimized at all to access other stuff.
I've also noticed that if you leave Galexy Editor open for 6+ hours it starts building up lag. Same thing for me where it spreads to the rest of the computer and ultimately have to shutdown the computer just to be sure it's all cleaned out.
Yeah. Does that mean its a memory leak? I haven't bothered tracking memory usage, and every time I look online to see if SC2 has a memory leak I just see people going "OMG 1.6 GIGABYTES = MEMORY LEAK" and everyone telling them off for being stupid. But this does kinda have the feel of a memory leak...

Used to happen to me until I started playing in windowed.

Is it a known/being fixed bug? Does it happen to everyone? Or are we just special and it will never get fixed?...

I just run mine in windowed (fullscreen) mode. It's when you cant see the window border, but its still technically windowed.
