Salutations. I am new to these forums, and somewhat new to SC2 editing, and I have a question which I could find no answers for anywhere.
In the WC3 editor there was an option to have full control over all teams, but without them being allied, meaning you could control all units and buildings but the different teams would still attack each other if close enough.
I have not been able to find any such option in the SC2 editor. I would guess some trigger could do it, but I'm not that good at the editor yet that I can figure it out.
Hope someone out there can help me. Thank you for your time.
Hey, you're right when you say this is a triggering kind of fix.
Open the gear icon to get to the trigger editor.
The action you're looking for is called Set Alliance Aspect
You'll want to change the parameters to: Give Shared Control for PlayerNumberA to PlayerNumberB
player B will be able to control player A's units now.
For the event, just use map initialization so it occurs as soon as the map loads.
A followup question though. I've set shared control, shared vision and usage of resources. Is it possible to have a way to actually see the other teams supply and resources? It can work without, but it would sure make it easier.
Sadly some of the things he does in the video you've linked doesn't show up in my editor, I expect it's from another version.
I can create a leaderboard, but can't get any info on it. In the video when he starts messing with variables he has options appearing that I do not. Doesn't even look like the same version.
I've used some time now trying searching for options and trying stuff out, but I haven't gotten any closer.

Brilliant! It works.

Thanks for the quick answer and the great help.
Use some kind of triggered leaderboard to display those things.
