Bit of a necro I know, but for anyone getting this error, particularly with record inside record, just make sure the records you are declaring inside a record are declared BEFORE that record. For example, if I wanted to have record A, that has variables record B and C in it, the records would need to be in one of these orders:
record B
record C
record A
OR
record C
record B
record A
This setup however would not work:
record A
record B
record C
Just in case someone runs into this issue in the future and hasn't used a language that requires declaration in this order.

I've been getting this error "Expected a field type inside a structure" after creating a record as shown as below:
Here is the screenshot when the error pop up while trying to save:
This doesn't help but I've gotten this error before too, only mine was with a record variable.

So I manage to "fix" it by removing the constant for all variables. Apparently Starcraft 2 record doesn't like constant inside it.
