You can add creep at unit, location, region or point through triggers, and not terrain unfortunly. But it's easy to add through running the following trigger at your liking. You can also chose between permanent or temporarly creep.
Environment - Add Normal creep at (Position of (Triggering unit)), with radius 6.0
Is there a terrain type for creep or am i missing something?
Umm...creep isn't even a terrain. :( You'll have to play around with tihngs and figure out what to do.
I thought as much, I cant seem to find it listed anywhere very confused where to located it.
you could do some data stuff and make a new texture that has the texture set of creep
creep can be placed and controlled by burrow creep tumors, and creep blockers

And yes creep is a separate features, it is animated as well, normal terrain wont be able to fake all of it
