Since it's been a while since our last edition of Do That Doodad, I figured we could try another one. For those who missed the previous ones (WTE's 67, 77, 91, 99, 123, 132 and 141), the concept of 'Do that Doodad' is that I pick one doodad along with a minimum size, after which you are required to build any kind of terrain you like as long as it includes the doodad in question. This time, the doodad of choice is "Rock Arch" while the size is "At least 200". This means that you need to use the doodad 'Rock Arch' in your map with a size of at least 200 - aside from that you're free to terrain as you like.
Hoping to see what you guys come up with. Good luck, and have fun!
How bout a submarine doing an emergency resurfacing near a coast line inside a storm as a lighting bolt ignites the sky? I think that is a cool and exiting idea with this arch thing ;)
(quick note: My computer was having a heart attack trying to get this done, so I will take what I can get)
With a lighting setup that heavily stylized, it might look better to manually create the water out of HotS' frozen wave doodads. A bit more form and definition than a water plane, and you can change the size for more dramatic effect.
And guaranteed to melt your computer 150% more effectively.
This could do with a little less dirt and more grass, as well as some rough patched of leftover snow. Otherwise that might be the first 'spring'-themed terrain I've seen so far for SC2. Well done.
Where's the rock arch, though? The rocks in the back look like Rock (Giant) doodads to me, though I could be wrong.
I'm trying to make this WTE but Rock Arch gets transparent or invisible every time I place it near any other doodad or unit. Is this data thing or some editor setting?
Added "Rock Arch" size 200% to one of my maps in progress. 200% is very much compared to other doodads. It looks good but as always high rocks have problem with flying units.

No ideas, im thinking but no ideas with this arch thing. Find something more exiting to do for the next WTE#160

@Terhonator: Go This is the occlusion. You can set this to always show in the model data.
Thanks. Added screenshot how to modify occlusion. Notice this is MODEL not actor data.

If you're making a playable map, you can use No Fly Zones to prevent air from clipping through tall objects.
