It's time for another 'Do that doodad!'. For those who missed the first one (WTE #67), the concept of 'Do that Doodad' is that I pick one doodad, along with a minimum size, and you are required to build any kind of terrain you like as long as it includes the doodad in question. This time, the doodad of choice is "Mammoth Fossils" while the size is "At least 350". This means that you need to use the doodad 'Mammoth Fossils' in your map with a size of at least 350 - aside from that you're free to terrain as you like.
Good luck, hope you guys come up with some interesting plays on these fossils!
Kodo Graveyard, settlement, desert travelers using the bones as temporary shelter, excavation, hidden base, massive killing fields, jurassic park... and that's just what I'm coming up with that quickly. Don't be mistaken in the possibilities of a single doodad - my list even excludes more creative uses such as using what Foxtail did in his dragon-WTE a couple of weeks back.
I fear I'm not really any good at this terrain business, but I made use of the doodad in question for an experimental conceptual portion of one of my campaign maps.
This is nothing special, just a portion of a simple RPG-style map. The black elements are "trapped in time", part of a dream sequence. They are all a part of a single massive entity. The machines, mechanical textures, etc. are memories of terran-esque stuff you run into previously. So, this is kind of like a mix of two worlds before you break completely into the second one.
Really needs a new cliff texture... I'll probably have to make one eventually.
Things I'll add will probably include cliff tentacles and such, it's not really finished yet, but I probably won't work on it again for some time.

Are you allowed to edit the size in the data editor at all? :>
500 is still pretty small.
@Alaron251: Go
Pretty sure it is meant as 350 or bigger, it is probably okay to edit it in the data editor aswell.
500 for the Mammoth Fossil is pretty huge. But if you feel that you need even larger, then edit right ahead :)
Just a quick one this week :)
I was plagued with the shadow issue again though, so I'll upload it.
My idea was a small settlement using giant bones to provide shelter from sand storms.
There isn't much else you can do though, apart from maybe a science team/base or a giant graveyard or something.

I felt like doing a second attempt at this one.
