If all else fails, use the "cargo behavior" field on the transport ability. Make that behavior kill the cargo when triggered, and add a validator that checks a dummy on the transport (i.e. a dummy buff you place on the transport when "casting" your kill ability). You have to modify all transport abilities you want to affect though.
The Itterate Transport effect is broken as far as I can tell. One work around is to use the Ability - Load Cargo Behavior field. Have that field apply a buff that requires the transport to have a second buff to function.
You might also be able to use a Search Area effect that requires hidden. I have not tested this theory yet though, but it works with items in inventories.

my problem now is that i want the cargo units to only die when the bunker is full but i cant validate the the kill behavior on the cargo units, to only being applied when the bunker is fully loaded.
(note: i want to use data editor only. no triggers)
I was having trouble killing cargo units in a bunker, kept getting errors and not all of the guys inside would actually get killed... a hacky kind of workaround was I had the bunker move instantly to a faraway region that automatically hid then killed all units that entered and created a new (empty) bunker on the original spot.

i am actually destroying the bunker and at same time want to destroy the cargo. as i thin about it now, it is pretty much the same as the medivac load ability. all units in it die when it is destroyed.
edit: just found that on flags+ on the load unload ability.put a tick cargo death. done
how do i kill/destroy cargo units via effect? i read sth about the 'iterate transport' effect but i cant seem to get it work

Destroying cargo through data was broken last time I tried it, I used a trigger with Pick Each Unit in (Cargo Units) and removed the units that way.

it is not validated at all. it is applied to any unit, entering the bunker. caster source didnt work when i tried it.
I mean the Bunker - Projectile Accelerators buff. The one added by the Bunker - Range Bonus buff.
