So I modified the morph to infested civilian ability to match my werewolf ability, doesnt work, it changes everything over EXCEPT the model... which is stupid...
I edited the actor event, gave it a modelswap event, and it looks flippin awesome! but 1 thing... The civilian model doesnt disapear, the werewolf model appears, but the civilian model stays, tried using triggers, it doesnt work with the "Replace Unit" trigger
model swap isn't what you're after. you want to use create actor in the werewolf model and destroy model in the civilian model. look at some of the zerg units that morph into something else for examples on where to put the events, such as zergling and baneling. but larva to any other unit is different due to the different ability used. burrow is also different so you can't use ultralisk to copy from.

And No, I dont want to use triggers for this
@SnyderGuy: Go
Well, maybe try making an actor event do a modelswap when that ability is used to your werewolf model.
Maybe, I will try l8er, im busy right now
y are triggers unacceptable? its should be really simple to create a morphing ability with triggers.
unacceptable because I use triggers for everything, i need to learn how to use the data editor more... especially in this manner
Have a look at the Zergling/Baneling to find out how to handle morph events in a unit's actor.
You start with the morph thing. You check what you are morphing to, you check what you are morphing from. Then change the model appropriately.
Actor events are like tiny triggers.
You need to destroy the old Unit type actor when morphing starts and create the new one on the same condition.

waa???" in the werewolf model and destroy model in the civilian model" im such an idiot
Don't feel bad the data editor is a complex being, and actors events especially awesome/angry when you start using them
True, since over half the events lack an ingame example to learn from.

I just used triggers, much better this way
Can only assume so as you never clearly said what the whole plan was.
