Hi all. I've been tring to add a locked out but existing upgrade to a mod I'm making, namely Immortal Range.
I've added the upgrade to the robo bay's research ability, added the button to research it and it works perfectly in game.
However the button to research doesn't disappear after you've researched. In fact you can research it multiple times in a queue. I don't understand why as the requirement node is set (increasedrange, Queuedorbetter).
I've uploaded an example of the change I've made as a mod file attached to this post.
The name of the upgrade is simply "IncreasedRange".
Do you have a requirement? If not that is your problem. You need a requirement that has a node under show to check to see if the player has upgraded it yet.
Yeah it seems like I do. If you have a look at the mod file I uploaded, the requirement for the upgrade is called "LearnIncreasedRange".
I'm genuinely stumped. Again this wasn't an upgrade that I made, it's simply a locked upgrade that I reintroduced. Not sure what else I should look at.
It is all under one node. Those other things can be added through the drop down bars on the right side. He is right, you have to choose comparisons like stated above.

Can anyone point to what I'm missing? Thanks.

Thank you very much again.
You need a comparison to a constant like greater than or equals so it knows how many of the upgrade must be queued or better.

Managed to figure it out, was far simpler that I thought. Had to add the learn requirement under research. Thanks.
