i'm really sorry to bother you Ladies and Gents for this , i feel bad enough being about 4weeks old with a Game Editor
well my map is almost done but there's things i haven't been able to figure out
id love it if i could get a reference to an existing tutorial or any of ur help is appreciated as well
1: i click on a button , a unit starts to stack up (with out spawning ) , how do i get the button to count the units that are being created?( so i see 1,2,3,4 ). (they are being created with triggers and abilities,)
2: i cant find a tutorial any where about Tire upgrades :( .. cant build this unit until 1 is researched , and cant research 2 until 1 is researched , and , cant research 1 until 5 n 6 are researched .. all in one .. type of thing , hope its understandable. ( the button disappearing and being grey i know how to do )
so your first one you want to add a queue to your building with a queue of 5 so you can see the units/abilities in queue? (this comes under the abilities+ field under the building you want the queues)
2nd one I am not sure what your asking, you need to set up requirements that require the 1st one to be complete on then for the 3rd tier you need to have a requirement that both 1 and 2 are upgraded?
ok on the first one , i dont whant to see them Queue , i just whant a Number to apear on the button that counts up from 1 , Kinda like the effect on a abillity where u see the cool down shading out the coulor, clock wise, but insted i want Numbers.
and for the secound i gues its just requirements and upgrades , i gues i just need the basics, i can figuer the rest but i dunno where to start
i basicly dont know where and how to set the req <sub>,</sub>
how do i set a req: u cant select this unit until u click an other button to research it ( does would be both buttons )
lets say both the upgrade and the units are int he same building
For the first one, you could try making an attribute that applys when the button is clicked, and after X seconds, gets removed and a unit is spawned by the creating building.
Second one is requirements. Give each one a show of the previous upgrade researched etc. Not too sure what you are asking though :/
