I was working on an Ion Cannon made from the top of the Data Core structure from WoL, but as I moved it down the Z axis to make it appear at the ground level I guess I screwed the bones or something and it appears far off the center where it should be. Can anyone with more experience tell me what I need to do to fix it? I attached the file so you can take a look at it.
I don't use blender but I would say do your modifications and delete the building portion leaving only the round part on top and then select everything including bones and bounding spheres and lower it all together. When you have something animated being moved away from it's bone it gets messed up most of the time. Hope this helps.
@GhostNova91: Go Thanks, but the tip came a little too late lol. I already messed the bones. So I've been trying to "put them back in place" and with some random tweaks I managed to make it show closer to the center. Something else is wrong cause in game the calculated volume for incoming missiles is way bigger than the actual model.
I think that'll be the bounding sphere. The green grid circle thingy around the model. Usually it comes in too big when imported but just scale it the the size of the mesh and you should be good.
@GhostNova91: Go Yeah I thought it would be the bounding sphere, but Blender doesn't show a bounding sphere for any of the models I import. Well, I know it's there somewhere, but it isn't an obvious sphere around the model.
Well if you can't get it just send me the file and I can adjust it for ya. I do believe the blender scripts let you import bounding spheres though so it should be there somewhere.
I tried using the bunker as the base unit to try the model. When you load troops in it spits out black blocks which is wierd but is kind of like what happened with my siege tank with the dirt that comes from under the treads.
@GhostNova91: Go Hmmm but the position and bounding sphere are fixed, that was the important part. I guess it wont be used as a bunker but I'm wondering why exactly it created those black blocks. I may need to remove the debris material from it. Thanks man! I'll check it in game.

@GhostNova91: Go Well, ok, here it is as I managed to do so far.
It's done.

Yeah I think originally it was supposed to be an explosion or debris so if you remove the particle emitter (red one) it'll stop showing.
The black boxes are untextured particles... When you load a unit into the bunker it moves down and dust is spewed around the bunker.
@JacktheArcher: Go That was in fact the debris that falls from the Data Core structure. I removed it as it was unnecessary.
