i know this isn't the answer of your main question but extually there is a "any unit uses any abillity" event. For me its the last one in the unit tab.
the hatchery is created by a drone and a drone is created by a.... larva :) the buildings of the zerg are living things made out of drones and drones are created by larva's so the hatchery is also created by larva's
as condition choose (Owner of (Triggering unit)) == 1
and as action chooose issue order targeting point
and as ability attack, i cant find the last part anymore so he attacks units in the nearest region, u have to search that for urself
EDIT: ah i found it, change the issue order targeting point to targeting unit. then go to the unit group tab and choose closest unit to point and as point center of region.
i made something and it works in one map but not in another. Its like when an event happens so for example; u kill a unit and per killed unit a variable goes 1 up. But you want that variable to be limited. So i used an if then else action that if that variable is > 15 he sets that variable to 15.
it should work but for some strange reason it doesn't. anybody knows why?

make a new trigger:
