I made 124 points and put them all into a group. i want units to be created at each point. i can do this one at a time very slowly. but under the object groups window there is a tab for points. i got all of my points into a group but now i can't seem to find how to add that to a trigger. i tried using the for each unit in unit group, but i only got the test unit groups i made to show up. not the ones with points. any one have any idea how to do this?
thanks. I just did it the long way. Create one unit for player at point (point}) and then made 123 more of them. actually more. i think i had a total of 168 points that i used.
I know this is an old thread, but I did some heavy looking around to solve this issue. There's an option to use a name as a Point when creating units via triggers. From there it's a matter of numbering all of your points in order, then having a loop go through all of them.
Pick each integer from 1 to 442, and do (Actions)
Create 1 Marine for player 1 at (Point named ("Spawn Area " + (String((Picked integer))) using default facing

Points are not units....
If anything try using An array of points
PointArray[0] = Point0
PointArray[1] = Point1
PointArray[2] = Point2
PointArray[3] = Point3
Then spawn units at point PointArray[0] - this would spawn the unit at Point0

Sadly to my knowlege and endlessly fruitless searching i have yet to find a better way then doing it one at a time at a super slow pace.
