Pyramid Survival

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of StarCraft II. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Basic Description:

A Tower Defense Survival game unlike any before it. In this game there is unlimited waves of destruction. The waves get increasingly stronger and new units come into play over the course of time. Play again and again to achieve a new ranking through Pyramid Survivals' unique ranking system. Play on 1 of the 3 difficulties, or play competitively in the Competitive Mode. Or even try out the onslaught mode where there is no break between waves.

The Rooms

In Pyramid survival there are 3 rooms. Red, Blue and Green. Each room is a basically a separate tower defense game in itself. Each room has different gameplay mechanics, DPS mechanics etc. Rooms are opened manually by players, which means that not all rooms have to be open to play! The game gets more difficult with less rooms open, whereas it gets less difficult with more rooms open. In non-competitive modes players get to choose which room they play in.

  • Red Room
    • The Red Room is based on destruction. Anything inside the Red Room can attack and can upgrade damage. The Red Room is the most basic room of all. The Red Room only requires the use of minerals and some upgrades to operate.
  • Blue Room
    • The Blue Room focuses on armor and upgrades. All towers have a variety of upgrades in the Blue Room. The Blue Room towers are based on DoT effects and attachable weapons. The Blue Room has the ability to put curses on enemies that can do a variety of things. For example the Convulsion Curse will cause dying enemies to explode into a violent flame dealing damage to everything around it. The Blue Room requires Vespene Gas and Minerals to operate.
  • Green Room
    • The Green Room revolves around wealth and life. Anything built inside of the Green Room adds income. All structures built inside of the Green Room have upgradeable health and income production. Most Towers in the Green Room have no initial attack. And some towers require Bounty accumulated Ammunition to fire.

Power Extractors

With all of the rooms understood, there's yet another factor. How can a Green Room tower have a weapon? Red Power is the answer. In Pyramid Survival there are structures that can convert power from another room into a tower in a different room at a cost. So if you were to take a Supply Source from the Green Room and extract Red Power to it, it would suddenly be able to attack enemies and upgrade damage.

There are many other ways these can be used. If your wall in the Red Room needs armor upgrades you could attach Blue Power to it. Or If it needs health regeneration and health upgrades you could attach Green Power to it.

Teleporters

In the back of each base there is a telepad. The telepads allow you to teleport to any ACTIVE room. This allows you to quickly transition from room to room and help out your allies. In competitive modes telepads are disabled.

Artwork

Pyramid Survival is full of beautiful custom artwork. Most textures have been altered to fit the theme. Such as the Photon Cannon which has a darker look to it and a little more mechanical. PS also has custom created music and sounds that play throughout the game.
