It was a bit unclear how the teleport worked. I tried clicking on a group of units and moving the camera to another place and see it teleported them there. That didn't work. I kinda ignored that feature and just built defenses and used warp prisms all the way.

But it was a nice mission and I'm looking forward to more.

Played mission 2, the Protoss mission.

It was a really lovely atmosphere, doodads mixed well together.  Some areas were a bit empty though, it could use more doodad clusters in those places.

I liked fighting against both Zerg and Protoss. Also nice that you have to spread out to find warp prisms to attack the other islands. Big attack waves killed me a few times, but I managed to fend off them after I knew where they came from.

A few bugs though, some enemy attacks were stuck on low hills, especially on the northwestern island. Also, I didn't quite get the teleport ability from the temple to work.

All in all very nice mission:)

Good to hear you liked two as well:)

Yeah, the  Scourge might be a bit intense. Only two Hives spawned Scourge Nydus worms. I'm making an update where all Hives spawn nydus worms, but most of these only send Mutas and are easier to counter.

Also, I liked the idea of attacks from the east. I added some Cultists attack from that direction on my last update:)

The difficulty is very hard to pinpoint. I've had feedback before where the first mission was too hard compared to the later ones. I only make two difficulties because of it, one easy and one challenging. I have a lot of respect who manage to create 4 or more difficulty levels. But at the same time, I usually don't play games for the challenge myself, but for the novelty/gameplay. So it's not that important for me.

I shall try your Replicant campaign later:)

    In reply to hultmanable:

Thank you for the feedback. Nice to hear people enjoy the campaign:)

    About your encounters:

    - I shall look into the Ursadons. It's a tiny part of the mission but I have also experienced that they stop chasing and just stand there. I should do something about that.

    - I thought maybe it would look cooler if the mutas sort of faded in instead of just popping out of nowhere. But perhaps they should spawn a bit further away to get the player some time to anticipate them.

    - Good to hear. that the difficulty seems ok. It does get more intense further into the mission. it's always hard as a mapmaker to anticipate what is too hard and too easy for people who haven't played the map 20+ times as I have during my test runs.

    - Was the orb part a bit cheesy or was it fun? I do think it's easy myself but thought perhaps that it could be a bit rewarding just pushing through with an overwhelming hero. Plus I might do things with power crystals later on and as a first mission, I reckon it would be a nice place to introduce them.

I hope you enjoy the rest as well:)

Hi. This is a feedback thread I am making for the new version of my Ignos campaign. I recently uploaded a new beta version and I would really like some feedback and impressions, and of course, bug testing, if anyone would be willing to give it a try.

Especially on missions 1 and 2. I have not gotten anyone's feedback on them yet and it would be very nice to see if they are working how I am intending it. And if they are fun.

You can find the campaign here: https://www.sc2mapster.com/projects/ignos

    Regards
