    Seriously kid what does it take for you to get it. I think the moderator know what the hell he's talking about when he actually help make the forum section. More so you pretend to continue to comment on just about everything when you have not one clue about them.

    As the others have said this new editor makes the previous but somewhat similar way completely obsolete. You can do everything previously down in the new editor. You CANNOT do anything done in the new editor via the old way. More so the editor allows you to create CUTSCENEs ( you know those things in the campaign). That includes creating movies from entire different maps even with a completely different terrain then in the current map your working in. IE you are combine pieces from different maps. You can not do this previously. At all. In any shape or form. aka NEW. Most advanced vids you may have seen are not done in the editor.

    More so, if you actually read what the people hear provide to you because you have no idea, you would see that the new forum section was opened to provide help SPECIFICALLY for the new tool. NOT the old one which already has a section. Again you can quote any works you like, but the fact of the matter is you are so new that you are completely ignorant to the history behind things.

    Unit order index has to do with action queue for the unit. Units can have up to 6 actions queue up to happen right after one another (typically done with shift held down in game). I find its used most when you need to interrupt a units actions within a trigger but want it to continue whatever it was doing before after you have already gotten it to do something with the trigger. Typically the units actions 1-6 are saves into variables and them recalled later.

    On the contrary, a lot of experience mapmakers would respond positively to this post i think. Since a large portion have learn everything they know by themselves they can appreciate what your going through and that your not one of those types that just wants something to be done for them without trying themselves. Granted i'd be willing to talk but im a triggerer mostly and sounds like your looking for data expert.

    I know you mentioned you can't check if a region contains an actor, but can't you also just send an death/destroy actor message to a tree like actor in a region and somehow subtract the other regions?

    I would stay way from periodic events but regardless there is still a smoother way. Im not sure of your exact needs but you should probably use an action definition with a repeat forever loop. Use a wait action as the last action in the loop and set the time to a local real variable default of 2. Then check at the beginning of the mins of mission time is divisible by 2 ( mod check I think) and modify the variable.

    Well here some food for thought ; I was looking about in the beta editor and seeing as you can attach a "tutorial" map as part of your map file, it might just be possible (no guarantees tho). I mean the issue before was that the trigger would have to search to bnet to find the map but if the "attach tutorial" is actually part of it then that opens some doors.

    If im not mistaken with SOPA too, the idiot ceo who brought it up was fired right after for hurting the companies reputation so badly. Anyways it was already proven that the current laws, though a little outdated, are capable of dealing with piracy.

    The issue is that these companies that would want to sue for infringement are that they are so rediculously money hungery that they aren't even willing to spend one damn penny to put forward any anti-piracy system no matter how simple it would be.

    Funny the op doesn't realize that he's probably breaking some copyright laws from using his bender avatar.

    I mean really its like the same idiots in Canada now that want to make it illegal to make personal copies of your own damn cds; Oo for that matter how itunes/dvds are now charging customers extra for smaller, low quality versions on videos poeple bought and already own. I mean please bring a none idiotic idea to the table like putting decent coding specific to every movie title but allows people who have bought it to view it whatever format they so choose - now there's a relavent idea.

    As Trieva has said you are have not provided an event or included within the event the actual unit that is the "triggering unit". Second you should propably use "attach region to unit" and not this agent of player crap.

    Lastly why on earth are you using 2 triggers for this when it should be one, especially when it comes to periodic events as well and when the timing are so naturally close. This should all be done in one trigger for starters and mostly likely be done every 1 sec. If you really need it every 2 and 1 i would suggest setting it up as a 2 sec event and then having a wait action of 1 min and repeating the 1 sec action.

    Maybe its me but its really scary that there's issues with something this simple - i highly suggest you watch some tutorial especially like a if-then-else tutorial that i believe onetwo did which explains how triggers are supposed to work. Hope it helps

    Actually it freakishly reminds0mbe a lot of geysers. Its uber freaky when you look down into them and just see a deep abyss going down to nothingness thats most like the relative center of the earth. Very realistic

    Is there anyway to do a proper mask within dialogs for things like picture frames or custom loading bars? Closest things i can find is the blending option, but what i mean by mask is with most graphic programs you can make a layer a mask that covers a portion of an image you choose but can still allow anything behind that layer to show through. Ie loading bars usually are resize on the one end but instead the other end is mask to prevent distortion.
