Another video tutorial showing you guys how you can make your own custom shaped regions very easily and faster then trying to do it by trial and error.
That doesn't really matter, you can import your own custom models. And even then, you could make separate races that use same models but different abilities and structures and such.
Like you could make it so every race used terran models but instead of races they would be different factions and each would have a different tech-tree
You missed the part where he said make it like every other game where you CANT have duplicate names. Maybe you should read a little more closely before flipping out.
Yeah, all of battlenet servers are down.. I was just playing a 1v1 melee when they went down it was interesting, the whole game just stopped working, i could still click units and crap but nothing worked. I couldnt even hit F10 and then surrender, it just stayed open..
You don't have to do that though.. You can simply when placing the unit press and hold shift, this alows for the unit to be place anywhere. The same thing can be applied to place minerals right next to a CC.
In this video tutorial I am just showing some basic begginer stuff. Such as how to change a units damage, how to change the range for a weapon, changing the unit's weapon, and some other basic items.

I would think mana would be easy to add in since it would simply be energy count.
Also are you going to add in an inventory, character sheet, and skills sheet like the diablo games had?

This isn't the place to post this. It doesn't matter where you put them. personally I put them in Starcraft II Beta/Maps/ folder.
But seeing as I can tell your going to try and test your map from the game, you can't. You open the maps with the map editor and hit the test button.

You would think for a starcraft game you would use a starcraft font and not try to make it similar to a warcraft game >_>
