The technical dimension (which is obviously what's to be highlighted here) is really well executed. Very inspiring project to say the least, although the actual gameplay value is (currently?) lacking some imo.
Click yes, sign into your account in the editor, close the editor, open the map again. Or open the editor to a blank map, sign in, open the map, whatevs. The issue is that you're trying to load HotS while not signed in. It gets picky about it sometimes.
This is what I do whenever it pops up. Sign in and you should be good to go.
Definitely. I am not seeking to demotivate you - you have done a great job on this - and I am sure that a big fraction of the player base would consider switching map if they knew of it. That's often times the issue though ;)
Gameplay looks fresh judging from the video, but the UI is really breaking it imo. It feels rather big and clumsy laid out like that. I'd probably try to increase the width as well as decrease the height. Nice work nonetheless, and good luck.
I doubt it will get as popular as Zealot Hockey simply because of the fact that Zealot Hockey already exists. Though, I must admit that this looks very nice and overall better. Good luck!
I think Crux Frost is about the biggest map you'll get (slightly larger than Crux Whirlwind, which could also be considered). Although not quite as big as the other two, TPW Strangewood Mire or my own work DF Atlas could be fun as well. There's plenty of other fun high quality maps playable as FFA / 2v2 available, just search for some of the following mapmaking team tags on battle.net: DF ESV TPW KTV AEM Crux. I hope you'll find something that fits your needs.
edit: If you're looking for real madness, Crux Breeze might be what you're looking for.
You can force the player into selecting a specific unit with triggers. Whenever the player selects a unit, deselect it and select the desired unit. If you want to display target info as well, you can create and show a custom dialog and return the unit info when the unit selection event is triggered.
The game felt very well made, and gameplay appears to be fun! I can't leave as much feedback as I'd like to, as I was unable to get a lobby going and thus ended up testing it alone. You should consider implementing a simple AI - nothing too fancy, I reckon that might be troublesome, but enough for new players to get a feeling of the gameplay.

Makes sense. Thanks for clarifying - perhaps I'll find time to play through it all :)

Are your campaigns mutually independent? Or would I have to play the previous two campaigns for the third to make sense?

How can you even question that rule? It's impossible for Blizzard to judge 79 ever-changing entries.

If it was possible to block new threads from accounts created within the last hour or so, this would not be an issue.

One Wicked Dream, by Maxsvard
I don't know if it was a conscious decision or not, but the color scheme is just fantastic.
