Hello,
i want the weapon's missile of my Spire-Tower (uses Spire model) to start between the overhead- and the middle-attachment point of the spire.
Since there aren't any other useful attachment points like head or weapon, I need to somehow move the Launch Point of the missile.
I heard of SiteOps, but I don't get how those work. And what are those AM Weapon Filters about?
My Launch-Query is on overhead atm. What do i have to do now?
Would be glad, if someone had a solution for me.
Well, I followed the instructions.
Anyway, I got my problems with adding the right launch site to my Spire-Tower.
Since there is no weapon- or head- attachment-point, I don't know where I have to start the missile.
And I'm still not clear at what place i have to add SOpAttachHead etc.
Is it the CActorAction Launch Site i have to change (here I find a SOpAttachHead) or is it the CActorAction - Launch Site Ops ( no SOpAttachHead here)???
Hi,
i want to cipher some bank data in my map.
my problem: the system i'm using needs to handle numbers, that are higher than 524288.0 (max. real value I'm able to enter in the editor).
Are there variable types in there, that i have overlooked? Or is there a way to change ingame variable restrictions, since the normal real range should be 2.9*10^-39 to 1.7*10^38 or something?
Thanks for your kind offer to have a look at it.
But I already solved the problem.
It seems like player 0 NEVER has fog of war, due to his default neutral status (even if you change the player slot settings).
I changed the player slot from player 0 to player 8, now it works.
I tested the map with some friends of mine and apperently it's only the host (=Player 0), who doesn't have fog.
But i still don't see any reason for that :( .

I would try it with another effect (apply behaviour). Im not in the editor now, but i think it could work.

I am building a map based on Orcs & Elves at the moment. If someone is interested in a closed beta testing, just send me a pm ;)
Btw, a remake of Escape Builder 1.6 from WC3 would be great :D (mabye that's my next project oO?).

Got the same problem. Changing subgroup-priorities doesn't change anything.

Ah, now i get it. Site Ops are also Actors. Thanks alot for your help. I'll have a look at those actors now.

Please don't. That's my current project :/ The "Elves" are almost complete at this point.
EDIT: I'm EU by the way.

You have to change the BUTTON-Requirements at the researching UNITs Ability-Tab to (None).
