    For my Plants Vs. Zombies map I am working on I used a bloated siege tank as the lawnmowers. I need to know how to make it so that when the lawnmower rolls over the zombies they die. How can I make it so that the lawnmowers kill units they collide with?

    I figured it out thanks to onetwosc. You need to go to the turret of the unit and change the arc for all of the states like turning and what-not. Then you have to go to the actual unit and change it's facing direction to the same direction so that it will actually fire. This will only work if a unit is specifically in it's line of fire though but perfect for a plants vs zombies.

    did you duplicate a bunch of stuff? Sounds like a duplication error. Sometimes when you duplicate things, since it is still tied to the original object, it is now linked to more than one object. Also check Events field in the actors. Make sure it is set to the unit you want. If it works that way of course.. I have never duplicated or messed with the morph ability.

    These sorts of posts are excellent. I didn't even think about doing this until I saw the image. Nice job man! If a map is not appealing it won't draw people in! I actually have the most fun with the terrain editor than anything else.

    Okay I changed things to make it work. I went to the abilities section of the natural gas and changed the target filters. I changed all the required to allowed and I made it so that structures are allowed so now the spires themselves automatically pick up the gas. i figured id let you all know i found a solution in case someone else runs into issues as well.

    yeah, didn't work. I even copied all movement fields from the probe and pasted them over the scv movement fields and then accelerated the scv again back to the speed he needs to be (since i scaled him to be huge). I wonder if it has anything to do with his scale or speed?

    Edit: Maybe something is wrong with the actors or events of the natural gas? I changed the name to Sunlight and edited the description to be specific for sunlight.. not gas. I set it to parent but it still says sunlight for the name, which is odd. So maybe something is messed up with the item itself. Anyone know what fields I need to be aware of?

    It worked earlier while testing it. I am making a plants vs zombies game. I first tried to make the scv fly by changing his plane to fly and changing ground to air under mover. I then changed his height to like 6. I then decided not to do this and then i switched the height back to 0 and i put ground back for both others. He no longer picks up the 100+ Natural gas anymore. What did I do to it?

    Okay cool! That tutorial helped me get it to work. Thanks much! The only thing is that it doesn't show that the natural gas is being created but I really don't care. It doesn't show it in Plants Vs. Zombies either and that is the effect I am going for.

    I appreciate the help but that just confused me :P

    I was able to create a trigger where it created 1 natural gas for one of the buildings but I cant seem to change the 1 to any unit to make it indefinite.

    Okay I basically edited the barracks train and added an effect that makes it take 30 seconds to create the natural gas. The problem now is I need to know the specific triggers to make any and all spires auto train the unit indefinitely. I will need to know what to click on because I get confused when navigating functions that require even more functions.

    quick question. could i use the data editor to give the spire the train ability and have it so it can only train the natural gas and then make that button Hidden? Then use triggers to make it train a unit every so often? If so I can probably figure out all but the triggers.
