I followed OneTwoSC's tutorial to the letter and it works. The one that that is bothering me is that the camera view will zoom away from the unit in question when it is angled very low to the ground instead of zooming inward and stopping behind the unit. When you change the camera angle it snaps back to the unit but it still isn't what im going for.

I have the actions made out just fine.. The problem I have is the event..
Unit - (Unit 1 from (Cherry units in Anywhere owned by player Any Player matching Excluded: Missile, Dead, Hidden, with at most Any Amount)) Enters a distance of 2.0 from Larva [17.98, 17.25]
It works for only one cherry on the map. I want this to work indefinitely. any pointers? I figure it has something to do with "Unit 1" index :\
If you want to shorten it you can add a wait trigger for however short you want it to be and then add another trigger to clear all text messages for either all players or convert player to player group.
I know for a fact that the original creator of the Red Circle TD UMS game did NOT update this map to 2.01. Anyone who plays the "new" version will agree with that statement. This map was stolen and altered without the creator's knowledge or permission. Whoever made the original should be praised for bringing us so many good times. Here are my thoughts on this matter:
The original Red Circle needed some adjustments, sure, but not a drastic decrease in tower costs. The fire towers and laser towers just needed a damage adjustment to make them cost effective. The Banelings Nest wave glitches out and collides with one another making them bounce around and sit in the corner until you nuke it. The upper right player still has a glitch where once every wave a unit walks the wrong direction only to turn around at the upper left corner and head back (usually being slaughtered before that time). Aside from this it is my opinion that this game should have been longer if it were updated. With the original you get to the last wave (observers) just as you are getting a few level 7 towers out.. would have been nice to extend it since you have a whole other side to build on that gets untouched. These are the reasons I believe this map was stolen and altered. Boycott it ladies and gents for the respect of the original creator and out of the respect we should all have towards another map maker. We all know how difficult it is to put in some heavy hours making these maps. I hope the original creator sees this post.
Im making a melee map on avernus. I copied and pasted terrain to make each side a copy of the other. When I am in the editor and I right click and drag to move the screen it bugs out and zooms in and out instead of moving the map. Zooming sometimes does nothing at all. If I click on the minimap it sets the camera in a funky angle.. Not only that but when I set a cliff to it's lowest it doesn't show the space terrain but in the past it has for me.. Anyone else get this problem? it happens sometimes to me.

I need to know if I can just edit the search area fields for the (damage) effect or do I have to create a whole new effect for the search? I just edited the search area for the damage.
LOL I tested it and all the tanks blew up at map init. They were set to invulnerable and I set the filters to exclude ally, neutral and player. wtf just happened. I didnt even use the kill flag.. i set the damage really high.

how do i add an effect to an effect? "add previous effect to it so it will kill anything it finds. "
edit: oh you said I don't need the search effect if i edit the search fields for the damage correct?
