Betting high all the time wouldnt be of advantage to you. Unless you always have a good hand.
If you bet Big, you may get called, beaten by the hand, and lose 20%.
Another way to set it up would be;
If you lose the hand, you should lose all your bet like in normal poker, but are allowed to fight with 20% of your bet to try and reclaim it through battle?
whenever your maurader gets within 10 of a goldbaneling, the GoldBaneling gets a speedboost (behavior) and then Attacks you. (notice the lack of capitalization, and inconsistent/random use of capitalization)

I am saddened that I have to fallback to Augment, even if it will do what I want, and never learn
why the IssueOrderEffect doesn't work properly, which also would be a very powerful effect to use in later mapping. (run-on sentence)
Although, I am very used to operating under the paradigm of second hand solutions, I would, on this particular
occasion, perfer to utilize my current effect set.

I think you are both misunderstanding what I am doing.
I have the Min Scan range set to 1 for a reason. I do not want the weapons scan range to determine when a baneling attacks you.
The radius of the search effect will determine this.
I want full control of the attacking to be done by the Effects GoldBaneSearch and GoldBaneIssueOrder.
I have the min scan ranges turned off.
As far as the actor message, i have not mnessed with that yet. It is not my problem, i duplicated the actor and havnt had time to fix the animation events yet.
My MAIN problem is the Issue Order trigger..... why doesnt it work.
Whenever my baneling acquires aggro (comes into combat range) of an enemy unit,
it seems to alert nearby units too? What is happening here and how do I stop it?
I have a Effect - SET with 2 effect in it that get ran when my missle detects a unit within its search radius.
I have an Effect - Damage and a Effect - Suicide
If I fire a missle at a point behind the unit i am firing at, the missle will hit the unit and deal damage, but the impact explosion occurs at the point behind him where i clicked, and not on him?
2nd Problem. In order to hit a unit with my missle, I have to attack at a point behind them. If i attack a point in front of them or very close to them, i get no damage.
Ideas?

I have a unit called a GoldBaneling.
Here is what I want... whenever your maurader gets withtin 10 of a goldbaneling, the GoldBaneling gets a speedboost (behavior) and then Attacks you.
I got it so that the baneling gets its speed boost, but for some reason it will not attack you.

I have a baneling that searches around it in a 15 radius using a search effect.
The search effect runs an IssueOrdereffect when if finds a unit in the search area.
What i want is to make the Baneling (the searcher) Attack the unit it finds in the search area.
I have tried every combination of Target Unit/ Souce Unit/ Caster Unit on both effects that I can think of..
What combination do you have to use?????

OK this is interesting...... I took 3 banelings and put them in a triangle formation
I also took 3 marines and put them in a triangle formation.
If i get near one corner of the triangle with my marine, all 3 banelings come after me.
BUT only one marine will come after me on the marine triangle.
Why the difference?

Nah, Those dont make a difference. They are not checked for the Marine by default.

it also alerts units around it and they too come after you....

do you mean if my effect.myeffect is actually farther down the in the list than the effect.myeffect.start?
