    Blizzard saying DotA non premium = not giving credit to me. yea nobody would pay anything for the custom game because 99% of the blizzard community are cheap. If you wanna do mapping for fun then its a good place. But for those who expects superb custom map, keep dreaming! No good map will come without funding.

    Eat that Blizzard for being so arrogant and not honoring IceFrog. DotA basically triples WC3 and TFT sales but Blizzard still say that DotA is non-premium map? really? Man I can see Icefrog got hurt by that. Such a shame. Blizzard basically treats us mappers worse than a dog. Dog still got some dogfood and bones. We? We got nothing. NOTHING! They will even ban your map if it got sucessful so fast. Remember our fella Rodrigo? he got booted off. Stop wasting your time making maps.

    Lastly, you cannot sign your rights away. Actually contracts (especially waivers) often fail to stand up in court. By no means does Blizzard own the idea of Dota nor even the heroes or skills; they may(1) own the map and certainly the WC3-based assets (sounds, models, etc.) but little else.

    (1) I actually doubt Blizzard could successfully market the map without giving a % to Icefrog. I'm fairly confident that if Blizzard tried to sell Dota without giving a cut to Icefrog/other creators, then he could successfully sue them. On the other hand, the reverse is certainly true.

    Exactly. And community needs to stop being so cheap. These people spend months to make good maps and nobody are willing to pay not even 99c. Such a shame. And yet they are complaining lacks of quality map. These mapmakers needs to eat and pay rent. The reason iPhone Apps so popular is because there's money behind it. Remember, Money makes life goes around. Without money it's pointless bro

    Lolz. Non-paid will never be as good. Unless Blizzard implements marketplace, no maps will be high quality. You will get a lot of typing game like NWW and Debates tho

    Very nice! I have some cosmetic/polish request if you don't mind. - On Claptrap, can you color the blue eye into red, and make the eye just a bit bigger. - The motorcycle is nice but I think I was wrong... can you instead take the MULE button, then shrink it in terms of the width (X coordinate), and stretch it a bit in terms of the height (Y coord). I think that will make the MULE look like motorcycle. (the original MULE button attached) - The wireframe is attached.     Then the motorcycle, I think if you shrink the width size (X size) of the MULE icon, you will get MULE that looks like motorcycle. That kind of motorcycle is fine.

    Hi guys, I am stuck here. So There are 2 ability: 1. Nuke Yourself; 2. Nuke Your Ally. Each has cooldown of 60 seconds You and your ally have the same abilities Now I want it so that when you hit "Nuke Yourself". The "Nuke Your Ally" ability in your ally's unit also gets 60 seconds cooldown. Similarly when you hit "Nuke Your Ally", The "Nuke Yourself" ability in your ally's unit also gets 60 seconds cooldown I want it as if you are sharing the abilities. if your ally have helped you to nuke your area, you cannot hit the nuke button. I tried to use Add Cooldown For Players Trigger but couldn't figure out. This is what I have done so far: Event - Any unit uses Nuke Yourself Condition - Player - Add 60 seconds cooldown to "Abil/NukeAlly" for Player (Player (Ally[Trigerring Player]) From (Allies of [Trigerring Player])

    Hi guys! I am trying to create SUPER MULE Harvester. Allows you to gather resources at increasing Fibonacci rate (more resources gathered over time), just like Void Ray charge, so every 5 second harvest rate increases: 1,1,2,3,5,8,13, etc without a need to return to Command Center/HQ Everything works fine and correctly except in this situation: I order my SUPER MULE to gather, then moving it away from the mineral patch. The fibonaci sequence continuing until the mineral patch depleted. I have set the break in my while look when my mule not channeling but it doesn't stop it even when it is not gathering. Any insight? This is what I have done: Event: Any unit uses SUPER MULE - Gather Ability at Effect - Channel3 Ignore Shared Ability Condition: Action: General - While Conditions Are True Do Actions -> Conditions Trigerring Ability Stage == Effect - Channel3 -> Action: General Wait 3sec fibonaci rate ++ mineral patch = mineral patch - fibonaci rate modify triggering player mineral + fibonaci rate Thanks
