Tried that. I don't get anything - the sounds show up correctly, and I've compared it to the Ghost Lab level with Kerrigan in HOTS. It's really frustrating. I know Blizzard wanted to really open up the editor in SC, but there's so much random crap, it's frustrating.

    Halfway through vent edit:

I can now hear the unit through the preview editor: I set HOTS Mod and Campaign as the full dependencies upon setting up the map. I'll see if that works.

Thanks. Also, I have on other question, good sir:

I was creating a basic custom map, but I realized that my Kerrigan (Ghost:Lab02) apparently has no sound file. Has anybody else noticed this, or what should I do? I try previewing the sound files in the map editor, but for Kerrigan, none of my sound files play.

I have zero idea how to fix this issue. I've even tried pulling up an entirely new map, but her voice patterns are still non existent.

Hey all. It's been along time since I got back into the Starcraft world. Last I was working on campaign maps, must have been within the first year of WoL coming out. Glad to be back to the scene, but a lot has seemed to change in the map editor.

I wanted to make a first post to get myself oriented in the map editor. There seems to be so much more data than before that it has been a little crazy trying to take it all in. Which seems to be the hardest part, and then once I figure out where everything is, I should be okay.

For instance, say I want to use a custom model of Kerrigan (http://www.sc2mapster.com/assets/sarah-kerrigan-ghost/). What do I do after I import the model? Would I make a second copy of Nova to edit, since it is a re-skin?

I'm completely confused, so if maybe someone would be willing to point me in a step by step process of how you import a custom figure, and help me get up on my feet, that would be great.

Thanks again :), and glad to be back in the world of Starcraft!
