    SoulFilcher, you do realize that Shields don't regen in a battle? I don't know if this is possible with data work since I'm mostly a terrainer, but maybe if the targeted unit has shields, maybe it applies a debuff that prevents it from regenerating shields for the next <<x>> seconds?

    Also, kudos on the carrier shield idea. You have finally a) allowed protoss to defeat terran MMM, b) given terrans a reason to create battlecruisers, and c) given zerg a reason to use hydralisks in WoL.

    Took a break from the editor and played vs AI and also some players to get specific achievements. At a certain point I was playing on Korhal Compound LE and I thought that maybe a similar terrain could be called a 'forest'. I hope to finish it, but I have things to do. Anyways, first two shots are of finished terrain and the last is a (semi?)-finished dam with unfinished sides. Enjoy!

    Hello,

    Before I say anything else, I'm relatively new to creating spells with the SC2 Galaxy Editor. Anyways, I was trying to create a one-shot ability called Scavenge, where the caster deals 45 damage to a friendly/neutral mechanical unit over the course of three seconds, and then is able to choose either a health or speed bonus. It also deals less damage to neutral units.

    WHAT I DO KNOW HOW TO DO: Health Upgrade, Speed Upgrade, and the DoT ability

    WHAT I DON'T KNOW: Enabling/disabling the ability to choose the upgrades, how to make this ability only usable once, how to make sure the upgrade only applies to that caster and not all of them.

    Easy. Go to the editor, open up the Terrain Texture Set tab, and select the terrain you're using. Find the Cliff Types (I think it's called that) and add two other cliffs that you want. Also, check out the Helm's Deep Map below.

    If you're looking to make doodad cliff walls, either use: Rubble Walls, Temple Walls, or any other doodad blahs (simply making them thinner and copy/pasting).

    Yes, yes it is. You might want to make the man-made features a bit darker through tint or HDR, but otherwise it looks fine.

    Also, what is that protoss pipe/sideways column thingy behind the Temple Arch? Looks interesting.

    Here's the backstory:

    It was a junkyard that was for some unforseeable reason being scavenged by a Dominion group. All of a sudden, the Zerg attacked (for some unforseeable reason). Blah blah blah... the colony ship is 300, yes, but everything else is at least 300 too so it could conform to the original conception.
