    So I was trying to recreate the look of Blizzard's achievements by using Adobe Photoshop Elements 11. I tried using Aorta (DDS Converter), and I managed to get a shine animation done correctly. However, when I went back to try it again with other objects, the transparency conversion ceased to work and replaced transparency with a white background. My png is transparent, so it seems that Aorta is causing the problem. I have a Mac, so I can't use Nividia's plugin.

    Please tell me how to solve this problem, or if not, at least convert the files that I will shortly add to this post to dds.

    posted a message on Setting the pull down dialog item's color.

    So I am creating a dialog with those classic Battlenet-blue borders. I created a pull down for it, and I noticed that its color changes depending on the race of the player. The Protoss looked perfect for it, and I would like to have it not be race dependent and only show the Protoss one. Is there a way to do this?

    As I couldn't figure out, I tried coloring and desaturating with desaturated color set to blue. I found out that desaturation doesn't work on it, and that set dialog item color mixes it with the color of your choice instead of setting it to that color.

    If there are no other options, could you create one from scratch? If so, how would you do it?

    So I decided to make an achievement. I almost was successful. Except that the achievement looks desaturated.

    I've tried everything, including turning desaturated off, tinting it (which strangely has no effect), and even a futile attempt at using the "Enable/Disable Dialog Item" function.

    Please tell me how to properly color this.

    So, I decided to post this because it was happening to me practically every 5 minutes.

    1). When you have a dialog that uses text and you go and change anything, and I mean anything to do with your map, the next times you try to test your map out, Param...(something) replaces your dialog texts. The only way to fix this is to copy everything you had, delete the triggers, and paste in what you copied before.

    2). Rather randomly, the editor will derp and set all of your trigger and variable names to nothing. I literally means that every little text-thing that you can edit is turned into a blank space. To get your map working again, you have to go through the monotonous and confusing process of renaming all of your variables, and remembering what you had in the text of something. For example, I had text that said "Make an achievement." When I looked at it, all it was was "".

    Really really bad and annoying bugs. It seems to only have happened to me after the latest patch.

    posted a message on Tug of War Bar

    So I thought the Tug of War bar used in the Hybrid Mission 3 looked cool and would look good in the map I was co-modding. I directly copy/pasted the files from the campaign mission. However, there was an error in updating the bar. I pinpointed the error to the action "Dialog Item Invoke As String", specifically the "SetMarker" part. I tested the actual campaign map via the editor and found out that the same error occurred. This specific line is what updates the animation to a certain position.

    The specific error is something like "'Dialog Item Invoke As string' is not authorized?" I checked it and it seems to be custom, because SetMarker was a value. I experimented and tried to put some random letters for the value, and the same error occurred.

    Does anyone know how to make it work properly? Does anyone know how to get around this problem? Because the command is what updates who is winning in the Tug of War bar, and otherwise, it just looks like the right side is winning over the left side the entire time.

    I have included my test map for you to take a look at.

    posted a message on Color progress bar filling?

    So I want to set two progress bars - one blue, one green - as life and shield bars. I managed to get them working, but when I set their colors using Set Dialog Item Color, only the border colors change and not the actual filling of the bar. Is there another way to do this, or will I have to create a custom progress bar?

    posted a message on [Solved] I have a serious bug with my voting system

    I made a successful dialog voting system, but when I added a third choice, it stopped working. The current problem is that when you select "Zerg" it stays green even when you select a different item.

    To get the images working properly, go to the Race Selection folder, open the Race Selection Initialization Trigger, scroll to the very bottom, and read the comments for instructions.
