as for what i have been doing, i did submit myself for an NA publisher, i pm'd sixen a few times to make sure he was added to the publisher list (he wasn't originally... I TOLD RODRIGO to set it up)
i've been constantly on this thread clearing up issues, i've prayed for the project, i submitted both of my maps, i've upgraded the crap out of my zombies map and said nothing on this thread until now, and i've gotten emotionally involved whenever someone insults me (THIS POST AS PROOF)... i'm trying, but school is rough and this isn't easy either
i'm sorry you're taking all of the heat for this taco... i stalled the thing up with bp earlier too, and i keep throwing opinions left and right without much care. honestly, if i was a mod i would do all i could, but i really can't. and have it noted that you're not the only mod here...
since rodrigo is so busy as of late, we need to organize... since sixen's pretty much won the polls, let's give it another day and switch to teh EU poll with that new guy (i forgot his name, check back to the last page and you'll see his submission). as for the advertising, the community can help with that...
heres my suggestion, (1) everyone give me YOUR suggestions, (2) we simply copy past our own messages about the project and spread em on b net as we play, possibly with a link to this thread, (3) get a mod to post something on the front page about it, (4) get anyone and everyone to talk about it in the actual sc2 custom map forum, (5) have an outside poll on the front page, and count the votes separately (perhaps as 1/2 a vote since they will not be from the "elite" who actually have proven their care for the project by visiting this thread), and (6), talk repeatedly to sixen, since he's a guru at this stuff :D
yeah IliIilI was here at the start. and dogima is on here every day. just because he doesn't reply to pms doesn't mean much =P I agree with IliIilI though.. but at the same time dont..

sadly, yes. i'm happy that dogmai is actually online, but i just never see him on this thread or get responses on pm's so i was worried. after we get 1 more EU publisher, we can probably switch the poll to vote for EU/NA publishers... i'm guessing battle planets is gonna be map #1, but we gotta sort out 2 and 3

Furthermore, that first poll didn't even have all the maps suggested for the MotW project.

and, finally, i'd hate to be an ass but i'm gonna ask ya if your willing to be a publisher, since our only publisher on EU doesn't respond, is never online, and probably forgot that sc2 exists

After two polls that were largely in favor of Battle Planets, this one still comes even. Taco said somewhere that repeated polls are more accurate. He couldn't be more wrong.
not to be argumentative (again... cough... cough...) but if 3 of them support or tie with the same map, they must be rather accurate

play the maps when the project launches, and send your maps to a publisher IF AND ONLY IF they get voted in

although i'm online every day... and give so much attention to this thread and the issues that arrive
and i've made two maps so i have sufficient experience with the editor
and i'm a good persuasive writer (who has a serious problem with run-on sentences)
but i wouldn't vote for myself if it wasn't just for a joke, so i understand

dam, if i was a mod i woulda launched battle planets, published the maps myself, and gotten this thing into gear by now...

the only REAL development problem is the number of publishers, which we're trying to clear up
after that's resolved, it should roll pretty smoothly
