Like i hope all said above: Amazing! But i hope you will throw in "diffrent" RTS mechanics then SC2 because it can be quite hard to compete with =P IDK if a "hero" like thing will fit in (prolly not... ) but i think maybe thats what some people perhaps miss in SC2 (I could be totally wrong) like e.g Mechs.
As you might remember i did a terrain Deadman's port style for my own project, but i had some problem with terrain objects f*ck*ng the whole thing up and made the center piece have massive lag, still performance doesn't have anything to do with screenies so here you go:
Note: The terrain gets more Castanar then Deadman's port in the middle.
Well i go in school (To lazy to figure out if its high school or w/e) and i have always haved this urge to create and been on a quest for creative tools; SC2 editor is the first tool i am decent with. Other personal attributes is that im lazy and have a very short memory so those three things usually doesnt match... I plan on study for Civil engineering or Architecture.

Of to my terrain then; i'm trying to create a "Wipeout" track (Hovercar racing game) with the korhal tileset the challange so far has been the jumps can't really get off with the height brush, i'll try to attach some pics soon =P.
Edit: Here you go! Didn't succeed creating those darn jumps so i'll won't add jumps at all. =(
I guess there been some cataclysmic event that ruined it because the only bad thing i can see is that the theres some huts and stuff on the very small cliffs which seems a bit weird also that some cliffs are very straight and not like jagged.
Was foolin' around in the editor as usually when i placed the terrain object Port Zion crusher and a the doodad Valhalla aircraft elevator over it and managed with some scaling fit those into eachother then i came up with my WTE idea (might be horrible stupid but =P):
"Odd couples" (Feel free to rename it =D) Basically to atlest combine one doodad and one terrain object from diffrent tilesets and build a terrain around it or something. Even more basically just combine something unexpected and turn it in to something else (Or w/e).
okay this thread might be outdated but i play minecraft (beta ofc) on a friends account so i can't join him online =( a sc2mapster server sounds brilliant =P

About my terrain by the way, i was going for that like idyllic suburban house cramped between two skyscrapers didn't quite succeed though. I'm pretty happy about the surrounding city but i agree with that it seems pretty included.
First of all looks awesome you already beat up some maps with the custom UI and models =) As for abilities have you considered under-barrel atachments this could be many things like EMP, plasma, hologram decoy or just a regular grenade, maybe laser targeter/designator? although i have no idea what it would be good for...
Heres something i threw together real quick. It's supposed be like this big metropol and a tiny litttle spot of normal terran huts and grass, trees and all that, youll see...
