posted a message on Dialog Text alignment - Centered???

Since when does dialog text auto-center itself? How can i make it align to the left and right if i have a label that is the same width and height as the dialog?

posted a message on Attack Once

I remember in the Wc3 Editor that there was a trigger action "Order (Unit) to Attack Once (Unit)". I need to accomplish this. How can i make it so that the attacing unit stops attacking after dealing a hit?

@barrierlol: Go Thanks for the comment. On the team part, i work alone. Though i might look for a data-editer since i just can't comprehend it's complexity.

@progammer: Go I don't really care much for multiplayer maps, at least not in small scale. It needs a story and so on for me to concider it. On another note, i would love to have malu05's sense of environment. The terrain he makes is astounding.

@zenx1: Go It might sound simple but I don't want to take a larger bite than I can chew. I have done that too many times which ends up with me just ditching things because I can't complete it.

And even though it sounds simple, I will try making things as interesting as possible. Meaning it will not just be "You gained a Skill. Strong Blow - Deals damage" it will be more complex than that.

PS - Update on first post with some info.

I hope you add somekind of job/esper/materia system.

I've been brainstorming on this front for quite some time. I've decided to have like a skilltree, where you unlock certain levels by gaining BP "Battle Points" which is determined by how well you fight (damage taken, how long it took to win and so on). Also as you can see in the video there's the "Skill" action. You will aquire more skills through leveling and questing/side-questing, so if you want the REALLY good stuff, you gotta put some effort into it, like Knights of the Rounds(FF7).

I wanted to finish a demo before releasing any video material, but i realized it would happen year 2056... So i'm updating with a sneak-peek at what I've done.

-= VIDEO LINKED IN FIRST POST =-

Edit: Also, it would be great if a mod could rename this thread to "Voliar's Revenge".

posted a message on How do i change the sound range of a doodad?

I'm using the "Castanar Monitor Floor" doodad which has that "bleep bloop" sounds. I know that the sound is called "Doodad_CastanarMonitorFloor". What I need help with is what value do i need to change to modify the sound's range. Right now it stretches across a whole "room" so to speak, i want it only to sound when you get close to it, like 2 range.

posted a message on How to make models attached to an air unit also have the slight bobbing up and down?

I used the "Target" attachment point for a mount system once, to make the riding model sway with the mount's model, maybe it's the same for this. What model(s) are you using?
